Oh and I may not be a politician and I may not be in the tax bracket of being able to write off vacations as deductible expenses , but I’ve been on the front of end of helping people during disasters , I’m no FEMA worker risking life and limb against a direct hurricane while dozens of MAGA zombies are hunting you down while they toss their money into the Trump pocket. But I’ve helped my community , during Harvey back in 2017 , 2023’s storm surge hitting the greater Houston area , and even last years wombo combo tornadoes and Berly disasters

I’m not big brain savior , I’m not qualified enough to help with bringing in and rationing supplies and donations to those affected .I was simply another person helping out a handful of individuals at a time , being a helping hand in community distribution centers , helping people , mainly ones I knew off of had acquaintances with , clear debris and hazards from roads or homes , etc

Again this isn’t some moral flex or anything to say I’m more than capable of running a city during a disaster , it’s just that despite my insignificance , despite my icky brown skin or my vile trans’d gender , I can actually do the fucking bare minimum to help people during situations , something that the people who can shift the world for the better or for the worse with a single phone call , can’t even be bothered to do , instead allocating the emergency or prevention funds to Nazi-like secret police , or just golfing

On a positive note here’s people from the totally evil and vile drug smuggling and trafficking country of Mexico , yet again being the backbone of especially southern states , and Texas in particular

Nothing says Texas can Secede from the US , like it constantly relying on neighboring states and even countries to deal with the frequent disasters you’d think that one of the most Biden Opposing , Minority Hating , red states ever , that prides itself in how independent and strong it can be
