Hell and that’s only Part 1!
The whole bell test with Kakashi was supposed to be a simple and nostalgic way to show how much Sakura and Kakashi have grown
The attack on the sand village was supposed to give us a taste of the power of even some of the weaker members of the Akatsuki, and I want to make it clear that when I say “Weak” I mean “They’re not weak, it’s just that everyone else is so powerful”
The entire Deidara fight was mostly leading up to the introduction of Kamui, a jutsu that is gonna get spammed to hell later
The brief encounter with Sasuke is to show how much HE’S grown, and how far ahead he is of Naruto
And the list goes on!

If Team 7 didn’t help beat Zabuza, then they wouldn’t have entered the chunin exams
If it wasn’t for the chunin exams, the Third Hokage wouldn’t have died
If it the Third Hokage didn’t die, we wouldn’t be searching for Tsunade
If we didn’t search for Tsunade, not only would Rock Lee never be a ninja again, but the Leaf would have to search even longer for a candidate
If Naruto and Jiraiya didn’t encounter Itachi and Sasuke, Sasuke might’ve died, and Sasuke wouldn’t start feeling weak
If Sasuke didn’t start feeling weak, then we wouldn’t have an entire arc, a proper ending, or an epic fight!
