Detailed sketches can be helpful atleast in the western cartoon industry, because if you’re drawing these sketches, 9/10 you aren’t the person actually animating the show. One of the biggest examples of “Why you should draw your story-boards properly” is Steven Universe

Steven Universe’s story-boards are half assed and terrible, and the people who animate most western cartoons, Rough Draft studios, are a no-non-sense type company. If the story-boards are sh!tty, then the animation is gonna be sh!tty, and that’s exactly the case with SU.

Difficulty isn’t always the way yes, but difficulty proves skill which is exactly why difficulty modes in video games exist. Sure it might be pointless in theory why you would be playing a harder difficulty for no extra reward when there are easier modes, but for the player it shows prestige, and ability. It’s like how we’ve already figured out a lot of ways to simulate shadows in a simple effective way, but we’re still trying to figure out different ways to make it crisper and cleaner even minimally.

Also not everyone has Pro ffs

Epitaph is actually pretty established. With one of his greatest accomplishments on the sites being SNM. He’s been around since 2015 and has been pretty active.

Epitaph didn’t come out of no where.

  • Oh hey here’s my two characters whadidyaknow

Michael Fields: Michael was a 19 year old boy who was in a hunting camp. He was being taught along with other young adults how to do basic stuff like how to tie rope, and more advanced things like how to fire a bow properly, how to craft and lay traps efficiently, how to camouflage, and even how to shoot a hunting rifle (though he wasn’t as good with rifles as he was with bows)

When the news on the radio informed of the bombs, the camp Sergeant ordered them to retreat into the wine cellar.

The wine cellar had been stocked just in-case, and was enough to last about a year. The sergeant had tried to contact the military through radio multiple times, but was never answered. Most of his peers left earlier, despite the sergeants warnings. Some were impatient, some were worried about their families and friends, others promised to only be out for a moment. The thing they all had in common?

    None of them came back

Michael and the sergeant later exited the cellar to find the wasteland that was earth. Most of his peers were either dead, or nowhere to be seen. The supplies were scarce, but the sergeant’s expertise is mostly what kept them both alive to this day.

Skills: Taught most basic and some advanced survival skills, the sergeant has prepared him well to live on his own. His weapon of choice is a bow and arrow. He kept an old compound bow from the camp, and made arrows from sticks and stones when the compound arrows ran out.

Personality: Michael has always had a great sense of adventure, and was one of the few teens sent here willfully. Though in such dire times, I severely doubt his excitement for the unknown will last.

So @ssbswb what do you think?
