also you realize it said across America and not across Minnesota right?
There’s been nonviolent protests that were escalated by the police, like the one’s in Brooklyn

I’m not cherry picking stories bro, I literally linked you stats of systemic racism that you promptly ignored.
There’s a huge difference between an individual black person doing something racist and a huge institution such as the police doing something racist, a difference that I find is obvious. One is individualistic, and one is systemic.
I love how your only defense is “what if it was reversed thooo?” Which is completely fucking irrelevant. White people don’t have 200 years of ongoing systemic discrimination keeping them in poverty. This isn’t about media coverage this is about what’s happening. I don’t like MSMs but I still need to look at what’s happening. Just because you don’t like CNN or the Washington Post doesn’t mean you can ignore what they’re covering.
All you have is hypotheticals, scenarios you can’t source, while I have years of statistics on systemic racism that permeates to this day. You have anecdotes of white people dying in police custody, I have recent examples, and examples stemming from 200 years of history.
And Ralph, are you really going with the fucking hands up don’t shoot thing?
George Floyd died for fucking ACCUSED COUNTERFEIT. Condemning one police officer isn’t enough when there was FOUR of them at the scene, and an entire precinct that refused to press charges until literal riots happened.
The only reason you would go with the hands up don’t shoot is because you have the assumption that whenever a black person gets killed he deserved it unless there is undeniable video evidence, which we luckily had this time. This underlies a racial bias that is seen on sites like 4Chan.
And all these riots could’ve been avoided
If the police weren’t fucking racist
The riots are the state’s fault. You can’t have a state with years and years of discrimination and racial injustice, and then bitch when your town is on fire. Riots don’t happen for no reason, and you’re conveniently not addressing what happened to spark these riots which was years of discrimination.
And conveniently ignoring all the shit the police have done to escalate the situation, with one prime example of them arresting a CNN camera crew for no reason which is some fascist shit to be honest.

But
Animatics are slideshows
How you ever seen like deleted scenes on a animated movie or something? That\’s what an animatic is. An animatic is basically a test run, you have the key frames so the animators can get a feel for the angles and the pace of the scene, it also helps the sound designers get the audio cues right.

It’s because Ralph is also a cracker
(joke don’t ban me , pls)
that officer is a piece of shit and should rot
but lets not forget this is (1) one instance, how long ago was the last one? how about all the unarmed white people killed in police custody? bet you can’t even name one – because they get 0 coverage
how about the inproportionate black-on-white vs white-on-black violent crime in the country? or that story just a week ago of the black nursing home worker physically beating the white eldery man with racial intent “Black people are supposed to rule the Earth”, how much coverage did that get? – could you I M A G I N E if the races were reversed?
when the media gets a juicy story they run with it and laugh all the way to the bank, facts don’t matter and lies by omission is still “truthful”, hell even blatant lies fly (“hands up don’t shoot”)
again, read my first sentence again, in this instance the cop should rot and I feel absolutely terribly for the family of george floyd
if you cherry pick events and facts its easy to make blanket statements like “america is racist” which is not true and does not help, it especially doesn’t help the overwhelming majority of good cops
also hard lmfao @ calling these unruly mobs beating people, burning homes, burning people’s livlihoods “protests” after the original and legitimate protestors of day 1 were replaced by thugs many of which I’d wager couldn’t even name “george floyd”
mass media sucks
thankfully they’re going out the door, but damn if they’re not kicking and screaming on their way out
inb4 “fox news is fake news too”
you’re right
honestly genuinely disgusts me that some people would harass and loot neutral livelihoods for a “protest” when to be honest it seems like they’re using it as an excuse to commit crimes to get the police to do action
honestly just has fault from both sides to be honest, derek chauvin genuinely deserves punishment though, he completely deserves it like the scum he is, the fact that the media is censoring out the good parts of the protests just ends up encouraging more chaos to ensue.
it’s genuinely sad how 2020 has become with being genuinely one of the roughest starts to a year
what about the police precinct that let him get away with it until there were violent riots squi
what about the other 3 police officers who let it happen squi
what about the years of racial discrimination in Minneapolis squi
I’m sorry, you can’t fucking both sides this. Sure looting neighborhoods is bad, but if you really want to prevent that from happening you need to realize what started it

let me begin by saying i understand your point, and nothing is perfect
sure there are racist individual police officers, and maybe even upper-level management
you can say that about any human group, there are individual bad seeds
but as a whole no “police are systemically racist” is not true
I didn’t even remember our previous brief back and forth and went back to read your post
just because blacks are arrested more for “weed” does not mean police are racist
yeah, some humans are racist, but to call police racist for this stat is a very rudimentary take on the subject
–
police focus mainly in high-crime areas, where are high crime areas? inner cities
the fact is, the majority of those living there are black
so what type of math do you think that works out to?
why are inner cities such shitholes for crime and ghettos though?
why is black on black crime ASTRONOMICALLY HIGH vs other races? something nobody ever talks about
thug culture, being raised to have a thug mindset
gangs, fuck the police, etc
what does that mean?
scenario
you are an inner city kid in a poor neighborhood
you go to school and don’t get good grades because that’s a “white” thing to do (funny how thats okay to say btw huh?)
you listen to music about shooting cops and fucking hoes because that’s what you’re told
you likely do not have a father because your father did the same, statistically speaking
you get pulled over for weed and immediately go into confrontation mode with the police, because again, “fuck the police” right?
rather than your black vs white weed stats, look up inner city vs suburb stats
–
you’re getting your claims mixed up here which is it, is america racist as you said in the other post, or are police racist?
because it seems you’re brushing aside my stats of black-on-white crime over white-on-black crime because it doesn’t fit your “america is racist (against blacks)” claim, similarly the high rate of violent crime committed by blacks vs other races
–
“you have the assumption that whenever a black person gets killed he deserved it”
really is that what you think? nice straw man argument
I’m pointing out how the media is brainwashing you to be convinced that blacks are just out there being targeting and killed 24/7 by police and white people don’t
they never run any stories where the white person is the victim, just like the nursing home example I provided you being brushed aside as well “america has a racism problem” you said…
they never run the stats of black-on-white crime you want to brush aside as “anecdotal”
they fan the flames of racism, because it makes them money
that is clearly what my post was stressing
–
also don’t act like burning down mcdonalds and stealing TVs from target is because of anger over racial injustice, don’t legitimize these rioters taking advantage of george floyds memory
it started as a protest, but that’s in the rear view mirror
simple exercise, if martin luther king were to give his opinion about what’s going on in Minnesota, what would he tell them?
this image sums up my entire post
drop the victimhood mentality
i will give you some credit, there is someone to blame here
there are systemic problems in america with the welfare state keeping the poor poor, politicians love that shit
arguably this all stems from them, direct your anger at them I would say, not the (overwhelming majority) of police
The weed thing is connected to systemic racism because blacks and whites smoke at similar rates yet blacks are arrested more, why is this? Because black neighborhoods are over policed. You may say “Well that’s because they commit more crime” well to that I say they commit more crime because their situations are more dire. You talk about the difference between intercities and suburbs, well one of the major differences you’re ignoring is the wealth disparity. Intercities are poor, suburbs are not. Why are so many blacks poor? Well a multitude of reasons
For one, stuff like Jim Crow laws condemned a lot of African Americans to ghettos. Due to segregation black people had no choice but to go to shitty neighborhoods with poor education and job opportunities. This lead to generational poverty. People with well-off parents are more likely to be well off, and people with poor parents are more likely to be poor.
Black on Black crime is high because of poverty. Because black people are poor, and the neighborhoods they’re in are poor, there’s less job opportunities. Because of this, many of them have to resort to crime, drug dealing etc. But you have to protect the drugs to sell them. And to protect them you need a crew, and when two crews with the same goals clash, violence happens. This isn’t me saying gangs are good or the people in them are blameless, this is me recognizing that the situation racist institutions put them in led them into a scenario in which they have little to no other options. Poverty is the number one predictor of crime. Which is why poor whites commit more crime than rich blacks.
Over-policing doesn’t stop crime from happening, only catching it when it does. Once again crime stems from poverty, and more arrests aren’t going to change the neighborhood from being poor, infact, it makes it even more poor. The more fathers that are arrested the more fatherless children you have. Father-less children have higher rates of crime, and poor sex education guarantees more young black women are going to get pregnant, which creates a vicious cycle.
Rap music and “thug culture” being violent is irrelevant. The bad culture argument is bad because we look at TV shows and media that depicts violence everyday, and plenty of white and well off black people listen to rap music as well.
You go to school and don’t get good grades because of the poor education the school had due to underfunding
You listen to music because everyone listens to this music. It’s one of the most popular American music genres.
You’re father got arrested because he tried to sell weed to provide for you, as there was little employment opportunity due to the poor neighborhood, and the discrimination he might’ve faced for his name.
Your attitude is bad against the police, because your friend or someone you heard of was nothing but compliant and got shot anyway.
And the black on white crime is anecdotal because
1: Not every shooting whether it be black on white, black on black, or white on black is racially motivated.
2: A black individual doing something bad and racist and then getting immediately arrested, is not comparable to two white individuals doing something bad and likely racist, and having the police cover it up for months.
And 3: It isn’t relevant to what happened in Minneapolis, a place with an extensive history in black discrimination
The police are an extension of the state, which is an extension of the government, which is representative of America as a nation, therefore: Police being racist = America is racist.
Mainstream Medias problem as you state yourself is the profit motive. That’s a problem with capitalism. Still, even if they selectively reporting (which I wouldn’t say they’re selectively reporting this as the George Floyd situation started nationwide riots while the nursing home incident didn’t) that doesn’t mean we can’t acknowledge how this example is just another one of dozens of examples of the police being discriminatory in that area.
Sure the looting isn’t tied to George Floyd, and largely unjustified. but the riots also aren’t just about George Floyd. It’s about historical discrimination reaching it’s boiling point. The looting is happening because the neighborhood is poor, and the neighborhood is poor because of what I’ve stated above. And expensive TVs and clothing aren’t the only thing people are looting. They’ve taken food and refreshments from the Target to give out to protesters and rioters, and masks for those who don’t have one.
I also have to mention again, there are other non-violent protests around the nation that were escalated by the police. It’s funny how it’s “A couple bad seeds” when it comes to the police, but all the rioters are just thugs.
MLK actually had a paragraph on riots, he too believed they were unproductive, but he also acknowledged that they were happening for a very good reason.
And that reason
Is systemic racism.
All I have to say to the couple bad…[Read more]
And if you really don’t want riots to happen
You’d look into the police, not the rioters
also the weed stat wasn’t the only one I cited read it again Ralph
And if you want a hyper specific example of systemic oppression, take a look at what happened in North Carolina just 3 years ago
When the Supreme Court Judge is saying you targeted African Americans with “Surgical precision” you know you’re fuckin racist
https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2017/05/15/528457693/supreme-court-declines-republican-bid-to-revive-north-carolina-voter-id-law
the real offender here is that they raided target
man where am i gonna get my dandy cap’n crunch now
Holy shit, ralph makes a long ass comment you know shit is REALLY BAD
also you realize it said across America and not across Minnesota right?
There’s been nonviolent protests that were escalated by the police, like the one’s in Brooklyn
