Who\’s to say they won\’t fuck with you while you\’re trying to rebuild.
If they\’re griefing you they probably stole your shit making it even harder to rebuild
And in the time it takes to gather the materials to make your base better the griefer has probably gathered the materials to grief again. It\’s quicker to craft TNT than it is to rebuild a base.
The only solution would be to move which would just be frustrating, the same reason why it was frustrating when Lemon found your base.

Some people don\’t like Faction War servers and that\’s OK, I think the democratic way to resolve this is with a poll

Not to mention how keeping greifing would effectively kill building, a WAAAYYY more important part of the game.
Grieifing is exactly what killed building in Unturned. There are so many ways to destroy a base in that game that it\’s simply not worth it.
Chopping down trees and spending hours on a base in Unturned only for it to be destroyed because some dickhead lucked upon C4 at the military base.

It might be like all these other servers in Minecraft where people just ya\’ know… Behave.
And it\’s not just showing bias to a minority, I\’d say the vast majority of MC players are builders, and getting rid of TNT explosions would only effect those who grief, in which case I don\’t really care about those types of guys.
Griefing is a dirty type of fun because to have it you gotta take away someone else\’s. Imagine spending hours on your base only to log off and come back having it destroyed. Not really a fun experience. Unlike PVP, it\’s not remotely fair, and is only fun for the griefer.
And unlike games like Rust and Unturned where griefing is expected and respected, Minecraft is a generally chiller game and building in it is much more of a focus, especially if there\’s a showcase competition (which there is).
It doesn\’t really matter that it\’s apart of the base game. When every vanilla version of MC specifically has an option to remove it than even the devs acknowledge how unfun it can be for the victims.
tl;dr Griefing is just a toxic form of fun in my eyes. And removing it wouldn\’t cause much of a problem for anyone except the people doing it, in which case they should behave or get banned. It would benefit the majority instead of the minority. Vanilla mechanics be damned.
