If it\’s a realistic explosion, make sure to animate as MUCH realism and detail.

Shrapnel
Lots of glow
Fire trails as a result of explosion
Don\’t make the orange too dramatic unless you\’re trying a big explosion or a dramatic explosion, since most explosions don\’t show much orange shit like the movies, and just release a shitload of shrapnel and a small amount of fireDo what Teo said to make it more dramatic too

I needed the model for the hair, I like it for a \”injured\” version of the FOCUS protag. I also wanted to perhaps change the Max Millard model\’s colors to the same color pallete as the protag or enemy. Figured I might then use that recolored version as a boss battle that appears midway during FOCUS.

This was mainly to practice the footing for the characters, death effect, wide-screen improvement. and i also needed a better pistol animation considering the old animation for the slide going back looked dogshit when I started trying to practice this anim style

More FOCUS testing.
I was just checking this max Millard model by JDM and decided to animate it since I’m trying to master this animation style and wide-screen bar effect since it’s not the default stick nodes wide-screen, and animating it to “sync” or move with whatever the protag does is a bit weird. i don’t care about which character I use in the testing, as long as the actual FOCUS animation uses the grey jacket dude.-

I keep getting burnt out for some reason…I spend little time and in that little time animating, I make great stuff. It\’s been going slightly better though. I now try my best to use that time of me not animating to learn more stuff. My goal is to be more active on animating
Making an animation called FOCUS, Im having tons of fun doing it which is really helping me stay on point. Today, I watched 4 cqc scenes from movies to interpret the fighting moves to one of the scenes, learnt new animation style, and choreographed a few stuff by watching explosive bullets legendary PL series…
I just feel it\’s not enough though.
