    • Okay first of all, that’s an ‘image’ of a GLASS of water. And a ‘cup’ is a unit of measurement and that’s definitely NOT a cup. Not mention that could be anything, old sprite, or literally any other clear liquid. I’m so tired of people like you posting lies on this site 24/7

Just because the object is made out of GLASS doesnt mean its a GLASS of water, that’s like calling a cup made out of plastic a plastic of water, if its shaped like a ‘Cup’ then its a cup.

Difference is, a glass of water is a real term while a plastic of water is NOT

Although I do believe water is wet, the biggest argument against it is that how saying water is wet is similar to saying Lava is melting.

          water cant become wet

          basically,

wetness arises when a liquid and a solid surface interact, or in other words, wetness is a property that occurs when water or another liquid comes into contact with a solid object

water cant become wet because its not coming in contact with itself, i think its moreso merging with itself and becoming more water, not wet water

water isnt dry, perse, its just not wet

          it wets things

You wouldn’t say paint itself isn’t painted, why is water wet?

            My plan worked

(I accidentally said isn’t my mistake, my point is, wet means that an object has water on it, and painted means an object has paint on it. You wouldn’t say paint is painted, so why would you say water is wet

I’m grasping at straws here for the sake of the joke I’m sure there are better arguments-)
