2019-05-22 22:47:32 UTC So, for the past few months, I’ve been slowly redesigning my main OC – Kaiju. I did this for two main reasons: Firstly, His previous design(s) wasn’t really growing on me, and secondly, I’m sick of Kaiju just looking like an Epitaph rip-off.
So, I got to work, and firstly, I changed Kaiju’s color scheme. Now instead of green-and-black (Like Epitaph), he is now black and neon greenish yellow. I also gave him a more armored look, and made his front horn WAY smaller. I gave him a more angular sort of appearance, and gave him these neat little clocks on his shoulders as detail. Kaiju also has a new weapon – The Temporal Tulwar.
The most notable change is his lower body. I wanted to make him REALLY stand out by giving him a unique lower torso. However, I can’t decide on whether I want a centaur-style lower body, or a naga/lamia-style lower torso. Personally, I prefer the naga one, but both look cool, and I’d like some feedback from others before I make the final decision.So…. Thoughts?

alright first impressions, motaro-dude looks much cooler, not just the physical appearance but designs
now, he’s definitely 10x harder to animate

True, but the naga version would be a lot easier. 1 big tail is easier to animate than 1 small tail/a secondary torso/4 legs.
definitely the centaur is visually more appealing

Yeah, the walk cycle would probably be a pain, but it’d look cool in the long run.
Besides, I love me a challenge.

As for the update, I’ve been kind of avoiding those posts because I wanna be surprised when the update itself actually comes out.
That’s very choppy walk cycle and I can tell the author never bothered to analyse horse walk lmao.
