really choppy -
does anyone have tips on how to not have a choppy animation?
-
not being choppy is simply smaller movements per frame, but people often refer to many different “faults” when calling an animation choppy
like unrealistic movements, robotic/rigid movements, lack of easing, etc
all of these can be animated in a smooth (non-choppy) method, but usually people group them all together
anyway, provide a vid of something you made and we can give tips

Keep actions relatively small between frames and keep it consistent, and use the “add tweened frame” button when needed, don’t rely too heavily on it but it’s a good tool.
That’s all I got, I don’t animate anymore

i downloaded a background what do i do to place it on down?

When you have the figure in your figure library, press it on the list, then select add figure. If it needs to be joined to another figure, check the figure description on the site and see where it lists the two figures to be joined. If it doesn’t say experiment and see what works. Hope that helps.

No problem. Glad to see you’ve joined the site as well. If you need any further help just ask around and I or someone else will likely have some decent answer. Hope you enjoy your journey with SN man, looking forward to seeing what you make.

My condolences my brother, make sure to save your projects even just after a few frames to prevent this. Hope you can recover/reanimate the lost footage again.
