Guys iam bored if u don’t want to listen to Quran you are free

Allah! There is no god but He – the Living, The Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him Nor Sleep. His are all things In the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede In His presence except As he permitteth? He knoweth What (appeareth to His creatures As) Before or After or Behind them. Nor shall they encompass Aught of his knowledge Except as He willeth. His throne doth extend Over the heavens And on earth, and He feeleth No fatigue in guarding And preserving them, For He is the Most High. The Supreme (in glory).”
    [Surah al-Baqarah 2: 255]

    • Religion especially in my closer years has seemed iffy, especially with all the talk of a God being all these wonderful things and basically everyone else pretty much apologising for just existing.

‘ God works in mysterious and wonderful ways ‘

No this mf flooded the earth to factory reset his fumble, if the devil is a fallen Angel why did god not take more measures to ease the potential of it interfering with humans. To be completely honest I feel I either need to clue tf up with this stuff or either there’s not much more to know and it’s just a matter of perspective.

I can’t really say but I’m not going to act like I know religion all too well beyond basic stories etc.

Religion is a complex topic with many intricacies that are hard to grasp at with cursory knowledge alone. And while I myself am not the strictest on religion or religious practice i think its a comforting thought that something or someone out there is looking out for us.

If anything, religion can be taken as inspiration or a source of allegorical stories that aim to spread a message of well-being.

I can only speak for Christianity’s God since I don’t know too much about the others. (In advance I still haven’t read all the Bible and I’m not fully caught up with it all. So I could be getting something wrong apologies if I do).

        But with

No this mf flooded the earth to factory reset his fumble, if the devil is a fallen Angel why did god not take more measures to ease the potential of it interfering with humans.

A lot of it comes down to free will. All the way back to Adam and Eve, they were given free will to chose what they wanted to do. That’s a very big thing with the biblical God, as he wants us to be able to choose what we want to do. He could have made a world where sin didn’t exist, but we’d also be mindless robots without the ability to choose. Allowing for evil allows for good to rise above. Like lessons to be learned and heroes to arise

That’s how even Hell and Heaven works in the Christian narratives. It’s not actually bad people go to one and good to another. It’s Heaven is choosing to be with God as for eternity Hell is the separation from him, choosing you’d rather away from him. Things like fire are imagery to show you shouldn’t want to be there. The idea is we still have influence from God in our lives here, so being fully separate from him would feel crushing.

If you are interested in it, you can always dm me or search around for stuff to read on the topic. I think there’s value in it, but it’s really up to each person to decide if they’d even want to play ball with it. I know I’ve personally changed/felt the effects since getting back into Christianity.

Sounds interesting, there’s definitely a way to go with what I know about it.

I’ll let you know if anything comes to mind again, thanks bro

        Religion is truly complex

Some people may believe there is no god, some people believe there is

But why does that cause such heated arguments? Like, “for the love of god”, can people stop making it such a big deal

I believe there is a god psrsonally. I don’t know, it just seems too weird that if there is no god, then how could the universe big bang accidentally created a fully functioning human body with survival instincts and the ability to reproduce.

        Same with animals.

I mean the amount of vital organs humans and animals have is crazy, if just one of said organ is misplaced, we die. We have senses that connect and the ability to feel and percieve things. We have eyes that somehow support the ability to move and we use it to acknowledge things around us. Our body can somehow also take food and turn it into a completely different thing for disposal.

We have the ability to reproduce and the compatibility between genders to reproduce and populate. The human body is literally perfect. It’s made for survivability and reproduction. There is much more to be thought of but I won’t delve deep into it.

I believe personally, that something like that cannot be created by the “universe” or a space explosion by accident

    • You’re not the only one sharing religious content here. Another user, jumphoops, consistently posts three times a day about the Bible. Since his posts haven’t been flagged as spam, yours are fine too. Don’t let negative or mocking comments bother you. It’s disrespectful for others to ridicule your contributions, just as it is for jumphoops. Let’s maintain our mutual respect.

Based on interactions with jumphoops, it seems the community doesn’t mind religious posts, so there’s no need for these behaviors here, aside from normal discussions about religion. The content of your post is similar to those that receive likes or respectful replies, so there’s no justification for these negative responses. People understand how respect works and haven’t acted disrespectfully on other religious posts.

It’s not that serious either. People will always make jokes and tease, as long as it’s not from a place of hate, bias, or antagonism, everything is still fine. So, relax! You initiated the discussion on religion, so there will always be people who disagree.

However, it’s important to maintain a balance, but since you also post SN-related stuff, you’re striking that balance. Just be mindful not to overdo it.

I suggest stepping back from the undesired replies. Engaging with them won’t benefit you. You can always lock your posts or simply ignore those who aren’t interested.

I mean, yes sure. Once a day is totally fine. i think Jumphoops also sticks with one nowadays.
I’d suggest making a group for it so everything is a bit more organised!

Quick Note: Try to not to send a lot of mini-replies. This is often seen as quite spammy, so try to put everything in one reply. You can always edit your texts (Max 10 minutes after it has been send)

I’ll happily help you, so here’s an easy step-by-step guide:

              1. Click on your profile icon on the top right
              2. Click on ‘Groups’
              3. Proceed by pressing ‘Create a group’

              Simple as that!
Make sure not to give anyone admin, unless you really trust them. Admin gives them the right to manage everything in your group including deleting it.
