nice, but one problem with your shading technique is that the highlights never smoothly blend into the darker parts,
here you should probably take a segment, (or a rounded segment but i prefer regular segments) point it up and down (or any other direction if you see fit) and have the segment color be the color of the highlight, and point in the direction you want it to, then have the gradient color be the color you want to blend into, in this case the “skin” color.
that should make your shading a little bit more smooth
