Pretty fake. Black hole is so heavy that it bends light and traps it in. We can only see things if light is reflected from the surface. So rip.
That’s plasma, also why is it everywhere if it’s fake, and like official news

I mean come on, CNN, Wall Street Journal, etc, they all have articles on this thing. People keep saying that it isn’t impressive, but to me it’s more than I expected… honestly I thought it would look like literal nothingness
Most people depict black hole as a circle or an ellipse with orange aura surrounding it.
It could VERY WELL have been something completemently different, like a blue hexagon with no aura but dirts ( stuff that the blackhole glups ) floating

black holes have a bunch of bright star matter orbiting it, called an accretion disk, which was used to highlight the silhouette
not ALL of the light around a black hole is absorbed, if it is far enough away from the event horizon it can escape and reach us
