In your opinion at what point dose detail become clusterf7ck. When is there too much detail.
My friends say transformers the movie while they switch from bot to vehicle and vise versa

I think the TRFs are very messy in themselves with unnecessary details, I know they look cool but I think they would look much better than they were as they were in the first cartoons. In fact they would look much better with the new advances in computer animation, simpler and the fans would receive them very well if they are real fans like me. In fact I read a post that says that probably restart the whole series of the TRFs and make them simpler than in The Last Knight, which I would not like because I want to see as follows the saga as they left us with a cliffhanger
Detail should be organized and every piece of detail should have a meaning on something. But in terms of an animation compared to a live action movie, animation should never go up to realistic unless it is in a game or visualizing something that can’t be visualized from a camera. Where stuff looks like it’s being jamed ontop of each other, that’s when detail can chill out.
