I think he asked everyone is his family to subs (Family on both sides). And he asked his friends probably too.

I know dude, its saved me time saying everyone than exluding some people
He does sub for sub. Suprizingly it’s effective to get a good starting amount of subs. But never to get active viewers. Still is a scummy way to get subs.
