This is a question for people experienced in syncing sound in SN, specifically music

let’s say, hypothetically, one of my current favorite bands officially launched the third act of their rock-opera mega man story today and I, as a fan, wanted to start work on an animated adaptation of the whole thing.

How would you guys recommend I go about syncing an SN animation to a music track with lyrics, especially given that SN has no real functioning system for doing that?

and you know what? fuck it. This is an incredibly technical question, so I might as well consult the man behind the code anyway.

@ralph, your take on a project of this nature would be greatly appreciated.

    • To me, I usually use capcut or something similar to count how long each frame is, especially with the lyrics so I can get it frame perfect.

Seeing as how when you export a sticknodes animation you can see how long it is I usually try to specifically match the sound directly with it.

Unsure if this helped but its something i guess

i asked in the discord as well and got a similar answer. Given the limitations of SN, this seems to be the only reasonable option
