Here’s a video explaining IK and FK. SN already uses FK, it’s how we move nodes around. Locked nodes are like a very stripped down version of IK

I made these action frames a few days ago for a test I’m working on. I actually got started on the thing today, and I’m a little over halfway done. All that I need to do are the in-betweens for the last two frames
The purpose of this is me figuring out how I wanna animate moving forward; like the techniques I’ll make use of, the fps I’ll stick to, whatever it is that’ll work for me. But this is also me figuring out how I’m gonna do it in a way that I personally enjoy and won’t struggle with. Currently, it’s going well. -

I think that\’s steady advice. I\’m not going to get better if I don\’t treat animation the same way I treat figures

Following on from this what I’m thinking is that IK and FK would be applicable to made structures rather than just nodes so essentially we could have a tool menu that drops down and allows for various types of movement, colouring, filters etc almost like Smart-stretch how you can allow it given all nodes in that area can move correspondingly.
Sort of like making the Stickfigure into an image at times so it can be manipulated from there but less of an image and more of some kind of hit box.
For example:
‘ Node Configuration: ‘
‘ Allow Stickfigure IK ‘
‘ Allow Stickfigure FK ‘
‘ Gradient Direction ‘
‘ Gradient Position ‘
All of this might get more finicky so whenever SN PC becomes a thing I’m hoping we see more options like these there.
