idrc about reputation. like i mean in general, if you just want to animate because you want to create things, does it matter how my skills are at it, and should i just do animating more as a hobby and not take it too serious

When it comes to competition in life it isn’t easy and the reward is generally not amazing, working on yourself one step at a time rather than trying to reach a level of skill someone else is at where they take big steps, isn’t practical.
In other words, don’t try and run before you walk, practice your own ability and bring some good of it through sharing it with others. Competition only offers so much.

Yes, prioritise your own progress rather than trying to compete with others, not to mention there are different factors that make different animations good in their own way so in some sense, there is no best animator.

It depends, I do animation as a hobby and I don’t do it competitively, I pefer to make it something I personally love to do rather than something I need to think about for work.

You mean art skills? (in whatever way.)
yeah a little bit, like making backgrounds, but i mean also making shit at different angles, camera work being good, having good effects, good editing, shit like that.
Im pretty good at that, i make space art as apart of my reputation on this site.(not just space art.) What would you like to know?
basically the stuff i just listed out. if you wanna make it easier ig add me on disc if you have an acc: 𝑀𝓇𝐹𝑜𝑜𝓉𝐹𝓍𝓉𝒾𝓈𝒽#4091
Unfortunately i can’t use discord, but i can help explain some of the things.
Which one do you want to know first?
that’s kind of a vague question
what do you mean by cinematic stuff?
like, provide an image or video of some example of what you’d be looking to recreate
even tho its kind of cheating, a simple subtle camera wobble + the “widescreen bars” instantly make scenes look more cinematic
I dunno how to explain really
While it’s not English (I think it got captions tho), this tutorial is pretty good by just looking how the scene was made.
Thanks
Your welcome foot fetish man
