Art moment :

Some old-ass artist says he’s dying ( but in a very cryptic and abstract way ), draws nonsensical paintings ( actually has schizophrenia but no one wants to admit it )

He dies and the painting gets sold to auction for 69420 zillion dollars, some dumbass actually buys it despite looking like a toddler’s drawing

Said dumbass sells it to another auction after regretting his purchase, also invents a legend about there being a curse on this painting because his wife had an affair with another guy

Another dumbass buys it for twice the price, keeps it until he’s dead then it gets re-sold to an auction for triple the price

Painting gets destroyed in a fire, now a scrap of it remains and it’s worth more than the entire painting for some reason

Someone actually bought it and disappoints his family ( was about to send his son to college but bought this thing instead )

The scrap gets eaten by the cousin’s baby during a visit, baby promptly dies because apparently the painting is cursed

Repeat

Here’s a comeback :

Beautiful, simply magnificent, the pure rage of an adolescent against somebody who stole his virtual stuff in a game

If you think that’s bad, try not to get mad at getting your stuff stolen, your base destroyed and your friends taken hostage in Unturned, long story short, I found the bastard(s) and went to the ends of the earth to ruin him even outside of the game, in social media.

Should you do the same ? Yeah, go get them ( but don’t do what I did, that was a little extreme I’ll admit )

Do you have any idea how hard it is to animate a character landing after falling and not make it look awkward ?

You godda make the character progressively gain speed as he falls, until he reaches terminal velocity of course

Also need a motion blur effect to give the sense of speed

When the character lands, it needs to be a bit elastic , if there’s no elasticity, he’s probably not human, when he lands, it needs to look like he’s ” bouncing back ”

Maybe a smoke effect when he lands, it’s always cool

So animating someone falling ? That’s easy, anyone can do that

But not making it look awkward ? Super hard, might aswell not do it at all.
