i already said what i said in the comments of the YT video
so the abridged version:
this is an easy 10/10 not just for “animation quality”, but just plot/cinematics/pacing/planning etc
its just overall well put together and is a great little (“little”) 15 minute action-packed entertaining video and I’m looking forward to more, right up there with other OP series like Mici’s Champion and JackFly’s (damn i shouldn’t name names now ppl gonna get upset i left them out oh well)
PL Team Slave OwnerGlad the 15 minutes runtime was worth the drop in order for better quality. But half the reason it’s shorter than the others is I didn’t have half the things I needed for this. But it still turned out well in the end. But I gotta lol at that low framerate for the preview. People are gonna click on it and be suprised with the 60fps.
YES!/10
Dude it was awesome!
PL Team Slave OwnerThanks. I plan to go the extra step in the next one.
10 for Animation

PL Team Slave OwnerThanks. Pretty reasonable considering humor isn’t something I care much about.
All I have to say is: It’s perfect
PL Team Slave OwnerThanks. I think theres still room for improvement somewhere though.

An EB quality episode like always.
This is so good and this series are awesome.
Its futuristic,but also pretty realistic.
numbers cant express/10
PL Team Slave OwnerThanks. Next should be even better.
Humor is inapplicable to this series episode, so I won’t critique it.
This episode does well on improving a lot of flaws the older episodes of Project Landfall possessed, though it still has some of its own. It’s enjoyable to watch and the animation quality itself is well-done with how smooth it is. The dialogue has improved quite a bit and exposition dumps are quite lacking, so the overall pacing has improved. The firefights are flashy and well-done, though they can feel quite limited with the close-frame technique in place here, and the constant reload animations, while nice touches, can wear off their welcome when they occur too often and take up too much time within the fight scenes. The story is experiencing some improvements too just with the inclusion of the President Elena dialogue scene. Now, the Thaltop are more than just evil robots that want to shoot the protagonists, but now they have a genuine reason to do so and may not actually be completely villainous. Likewise, our protagonists may not necessarily be heroes. There are many more interpretable sequences within this new episode, which definitely bumps the story up.
Overall, there are significant improvements to the Project: Landfall series. The story has taken some good improvements and the dialogue pacing is much better, leading to an overall higher-quality episode. Though that improvement in quality is welcome, there still needs to be a bit more added in order to cement this work as spectacular. There could be some fine-tuning and adjustments to the closed-frame stance of the animation, and more dynamic angles would certainly help storytelling, but this episode stands well for what it is and certainly shows improvement for the series overall.
3/5. Great improvement seen here!
PL Team Slave OwnerThanks. You bring up a good point that I need to expand past the close frame action. I also need to take advantage of some more angles as much as I can. There’s 4 angles that I can nail as there’s 4 angles of PL figures that I can take. I might try to expand on that a bit. But I certainly will take this into account to perfect the next episode. I have yet to get any animation work done on it. Also very glad to see the story is looking really good now that it’s a bit more developed.
