Standard issue sidearm in The Union for Union Troopers. The Hardlight Pistol utilises revolutionary hardlight technology by using a battery pack while also firing solid projectiles. within nanoseconds upon pulling the trigger, a large amount of photons and atoms are disperced into the internals of the gun, forging the two molecules together, triking the photons into thinking they're atoms allowing them to form solid shapes and in turn, creating a bullet made of solid light.
This burning hot projectile is programmed to be unimaginably sharp, as in a single atom at the tip sharp. this hyper-lethal projectile is propelled at a target at speeds hundreds of times faster than a normal bullet, penetrating armour with ease, searing flesh and then exploding into glass like hardlight inside the body, eventually vanishing as the photons disperse and loose energy.
Even just a single shot from these pistols can be lethal to even our most effective personal armour. melting through titanium, searing through kevlar like it's paper, shredding fabric armour, exloding flesh and bone.

PL Team Slave OwnerI can’t find anything regarding hardlight existing. Light goes in the direction it’s sent in until it hits an object. And as something like a solid goes faster it starts to lose mass so if a solid is going at light speed it would cease to exist. So if the hard light isn’t actually light and if it can’t be solid then what is it?
There’s research being done literally right now to do with getting photons and atoms to link, making photons act like atoms, linking them together, making objects out of light.
They can only link like two or three so we’ve got a long long way to go considering the Union can have these pistols fuze octillions together in nanoseconds into a specific shape at a rapied pace
