With over 10 billion in it's ranks, The Union is known across the universe as the most powerful nation in all of space and these Troopers are assigned with the duty of making an example of their strength. outfitted with hyper-light, hyper-strong Quetarite armour, a personal energy shield, heat/electric proof undersuit and various biological enhancements, Union Troopers are near invincible in combat against those without the correct technology.
Their energy shields disperse plasma fire, repel bullets and even absorb the shockwaves and shrapnel of explosives. their armour makes blades look like paper to a rock, their undersuits allow for maximum flexibility while also being armoured at every point in their body.
While their armour lasts forever, their energy shield can only take so much before deactivating to prevent short circuiting and destroying the shield generator which is the 'n' shaped prong on the back of their necks, this can leave them vunerable to continuous fire for a while till the generator vents completely and reactivates.
their visors also allow for multiple modes of vision from X-Ray, to Infrared to blacklight to some wavelengths we haven't even discovered yet.
Truly, if there's one galactic military you don't want to mess with, it's The Union.

The Union use 1000 Ft high war machines that fire rays that incinirate everything in their path, even setting concrete on fire
And the arox have energy absorbing shields and have atomic splitting grenades
You’d throw a grenade and incinirate a city. You cannot control an atomic weapon to be THAT small without creating significant damage and/or radioactive fallout.
You can’t just have cool science mumbo jumbo cause it sounds cool as it will bite back if you don’t know what you’re on about
No they don’t have many of these grenades for that exact reason
They usually send in the shielded stealth fighters (low armor without it) but their greatest weapon is xerix energy.
Witch with applied to ion or laser weaponry boosts its energy and power but it gets overheated really quickly after a couple of shots so they tend to reserve that for their heavy weapons and tanks
Also with the power these guys have they sound like they could take on an origin being

Ion titan? Because i know your not talking about titanfall 2 and im just a fandoy i will mention that ion is a titan that you use behind cover, abusing the laser shot as much as possible and keeping your distance. Never put nuclear eject on ion
And titans have shield that throw what you shoot at them back at you, and giant tripwires that are actually proximity mines
The feet remind me of halo, maybe from the oversized-yet-accurate feet from it

I guarantee the character I’m making could take down a couple, and I know you’ll say that he must be op… but he has no cybernetic enhancements or powers, pure training got him to his position.

Training doesn’t turn you into an unstoppable killing machine, technology and firepower does. Union Troopers have both
And so does ion, and pretty much all the other titans in titanfall 2.
