A long range weapon with decent zoom but without a scope. the Hunting Rifle is an Uncommon to Rare drop that can come in handy with mid to long range confrontations. while heavily outmached by Sniper Rifles, it can be an extremely powerful weapon at closer ranges (though fairly incompetent at close range or when running around).

If you have no long range weapons, taking a Hunting Rifle of any rarity is a high recommendation for superiority inever so frequent tower battles.
