He looks down from all the places he's been. His journey's been rough, with all the name-calling and hiding. He's been hurt and beaten, both physically and emotionally. He writes letters to all he loves, but delivery is denied. He regrets not saying goodbye and he’s never wanted to talk to them this much.

However, his tour is almost at an end, from all the places he has been its almost over. Dude's been on tour everywhere, but this is his last spot. Iwo Jima, the last place he is stationed, and the Marines have just landed.
