The largest of Node Spawn, their job is to eat plants, vegatation and water in the surrounding area then return to the nest. in the nest, they will mutate and alter the mixture to make paste which they regurgitate back up in a 2 metre high pile for the rest of the hive to feed off of. Devourers are not very dangerous in combat if given respect. they are slow and cumbersome but if you are to slip up, you'll end up becoming some nice Vomit spread on toast.
(try thinking about that while eating spread on toast!)
