Alongside the AK-47, the Gladius has one of the highest kill counts in the world. the Gladius was the Roman meat grinder, designed with stabbing in mind, it was lethal when paired with the Scutum which jid the sword and made blocking it nearly impossible.

From the Gauls to the Parthians all the way to Carthage and Greece, almost all in the ancient world have at some point faced the Gladius.
