2021-03-09 15:47:26 UTC It’s interesting to see a change in controversy in the site, from ‘The site is dying, bring back the old days’ to ‘This new users killed our OCs, let’s take revenge’.
On one hand we could argue it doesn’t really matter as their skill and how they are means they have little to no right to use our OCs that way or at all.
But on the other you could argue that our OCs our are works of art basically, things we spend a long time and invest thought into and when a new user comes along ‘killing’ it, it’s just a mockery to our work.
What are your opinions, are you against it, in the middle or are you okay with it?

Yeah I don’t really like it when people make fun of my oc. Especially Mingzhu since it took me years to make her. But people are people.

Idk I think it’s stupid. Who gives a damn if somebody “kills” your oc? I’d just ignore it and move on with my day. It’s not worth getting mad over. If it really comes down to you hating the guy, just block them and move on (lmao @ site redesign getting rid of blocking tho.)
Personally I don’t care, since kids will be kids, and they will try to dominate the best way they know how.
However if bullying ensuses, I would take action to prevent or go against it.

Honestly speaking I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. I don’t think some new animator killing your oc is gonna make you lose street cred or something. Plus 9 times outta 10 they have little to no following, so things like that won’t really be on everyone’s radar. Now is it important to ask for permission? Of course! Is a one sided fight hella bland? Most definitely!
