Went from an aimed projection of 70ish nodes for the arm to 200 or so.
Not to worry though, the veins will only really be prevalent in shots where his physique would be shown off and his arms have a ‘pump’ aka blood flow.

Seriously though you should just choose something that works and isn’t too complicated and roll with it for a while then after some time of practicing and improving, gathering ideas etc, then remake him otherwise it’s not worth much.

I always leave for 7 months thinking I’ll never come back and then come back for 2 months. So the cycle repeats.

I don’t think its necessarily overdone, I think it just needs to be a little less emphasized though.
You could just turn the brights to a more yellow-ish color and tone down the blacks slightly.
Or instead maybe even a green color, likely unrealistic but would be a fun concept.
