I decided I needed to upgrade the PL base in order to efficiently work and ease the pain of the PL
SlavesTeam Members when working with the PL base. Not just in animation but character creation in a way. Old PL base also was a nightmare to port a design from side view to front view. I intend to fix that. Completely. Scale and proportion will be 1:1 this time between side view and front view because I rendered the models this time with the references I needed.
Flexibility is improved. Gotta work on the one knee there though. Shape as well improved. Haven’t gotten to the arms yet which I intend to be a great improvement and way easier to use that V2. I can already see something as simple as bendable toes being a ton of help.
Front view I am better prepared to handle. New references I rendered through blender at 4K in orthographic which translates proportion way better when moving something to SN. We’ll see where the 3rd version of the PL base goes. I plan for it to be the final version of the base unless Ralph pulls of some mad stuff that I could use in the base later on.









Imagine if you had to make shirtless scenes and have multiple characters of different bodyfat percentage levels, height and muscularity, all of which have their own stickfigures that need to be layered etc.
Going for a realistic take in itself is already a pretty monumental task, you’re crazy.
Height is already a thing I consider with characters. I just have a preset height of 180cm for each character.
Body Fat and Muscularity is something I actually already have in mind, unsure If I will make stuff for that.
