To anyone with a PCVR (Only PCVR, sorry standalone users, not out on there yet) headset
Do yourself a favor and get Swords of Gurrah. Hands down the best online sword fighting game I’ve ever played. (Well, also the only one, lol).
The way it works is that when your blade hits the opponent’s blade (and the opponent, but it does damage when you hit them), both theirs and the opponent’s blade breaks. But, if you harden it and hit their blade, theirs breaks and your stays in tact. If your blades are both hard and hit each other, nothing happens. You cannot damage the opponent when your blade is hard, only their blade. Not all blades can harden, and have other mechanics. Such as the katana having a sheathe that you could use, and the pole arms just being super long ( hardening would be op on the polearms lol)
Great game, and fantastic developer too. Go support them and buy the game if you can and have the means to play it, you won’t regret it. The one on ARMGDDN is outdated and therefore has NO lobbies, so don’t get it from there. It’s on steam for $15, worth every penny. Even if I didn’t pay for it and received it for free from the dev, still worth every nonexistent penny.

The dev said he is trying to make a quest port, so hopefully we’ll see it on quest in the (hopefully) near future so more people are online and get to experience this fantastic game.
i still have never tried vr
vr sticknodes soon
Quest 2 and the upcoming Quest 3 are both decent standalone headsets, great ways to get into playing vr. Also a great PCVR headset if you use link or airlink, but you need a decent Pc to play PCVR, so if your pc is relatively weak you’re stuck on standalone.
I do recommend getting a vr headset, you won’t regret it. I have the Quest 2, but am getting the Quest 3 upon release. Both great standalone, but even better when hooked up to a PCVR headset, especially if you have a dedicated router so you could connect to the pc wirelessly via airlink.
If you have a ps5 though, the psvr 2 is also a great option. High quality, premium headset for a relatively low price point for what you get.
I remember wanting Budget Cuts a while back, but I only have an Oculus Quest 1.
Wait Budget Cuts Ultimate isn’t coming to quest 1?
I’m sorry, that must suck
Nevermind, I just checked. It’s coming. I better dust off the headset…
Edit: It’s not on the first Quest…
Oof
Maybe you could sideload it? People did it with blade and sorcery: nomad.
Also, it’s not out for anyone yet, it’s coming June 1st. So maybe it will end up coming, unless it specifically said it won’t be on the original quest.
