i dont have the funds to get a new vr headset and im getting really worried with the fact that the quest 3 recently came out that mark zuck is gonna start phasing out the quest 2, and its not gonna get any more new updatesim scared that its just gonna become a piece of shit software and thats not something i want especially because tis the only affordable vr headset, and stuff yk

Try getting the Quest 2 and see if you like it, then if you’re ready and have enough money, you can get the 3rd after selling the Quest 2. It’s just a suggestion, there might be some better ways.

Well in that case I’m pretty sure it won’t worsen but the quest 3 will be better (obviously), like how an iphone 6s can still function even though its a very old phone, its pretty much the same.
Quest 2 is gonna be supported for a while, much longer then the quest 1, don’t worry about it
There’s gonna be some exclusives quest 3 only sure but many games are going to be quest 2 and quest 3, and the library is already big
They won’t phase out their still most popular headset this early, took them a while to do it with the quest 1 as well, and that wasn’t nearly as popular
