The fact that is place is just becoming a means to post about politics is only going to drive it into the ground faster than ever.
Hm, do you think the place should prohibit discussion of politics?
I’m not really one for prohibiting free speech although on the topic of whether it’s relevant or serves any purpose to discuss political matters..
Honestly I don’t know, like I said, I wouldn’t want to endorse lack of free speech just because it isn’t all that favourable. I don’t think there’s any one solution that isn’t just completely bold and blunt, so for now it’s going to have to just have its time and place, whenever that is.

I feel like though the site was created with entirely different purpose. It slowly became a political ground for debating and might lose its function.
Who knows, maybe if there’s an update to the site we can add some warning tags like if its for politics, and if people don’t want politic they can blacklist it.
Tag specifications for posts would be very useful.

it could fall under the ‘1) basic etiquette’ rule to just not post political rants.
it wouldn’t be very polite in a public space to start hollering your thoughts on a recent world event and aggressively degrade the opposing opinion.
likewise, it wouldn’t be very polite to do here either. i mean this from a mental health perspective too, it’s a great way of brewing unnecessary anger and making people lose out on sleep.

I kinda have to admit, I’m not in the greatest mental state and it’s usually because of the screen time I spend.
I read an article which suggest that to avoid these type of stuff, it’s better to avoid these intense topic and focus on less demanding topic.
