for at least a week, i’m leaving because recently the constant hate and bickering has gotten to me. you’d expect me to say “i won’t point names” but i’m not a f**king pu*sy and i’ll say what i want. Ronin, CookieInTheFace, Spierr Wolf. all of you, f**k you.
i cannot take all of this and it’s just fried my brain to the point where decent responses are impossible and i’ve just reduced to petty brutal threats. none of you will understand this, maybe Spierr after what happened all that time ago (the good old days i’d say) and t’s better you don’t as it feels like you’ll have a knife pulled out on you for saying even the tiniest bit of criticism.

this’ll be my last comment here for a while so i’ll use it on someone who matters.
i really wish i could do something to change this community for the better but all my attempts have only made it worse, you can see it in the comments on this post. people callin’ me an ‘asshat’, people saying they’re glad i’m gone, it hurts, to the core. this is the place that makes me feel like i matter, it’s the one place with people who genuinely care about me and i’m afraid i’ve lost that. it’s shocking to say but i’m scared, i’m genuinely scared and don’t know what to do.
that’s why i’m leaving for a week (at least, might be more but i will come back eventually in the hopes that this place will have stabilised and the radiation will be gone.)

I am not trying to sound like some kiss up to someone who’s very popular on the site but I genuinely look up to you, it might sound weird but I practically bring you up every day to my brother and I actually respect you in a weird sense. I read all the comments that got posted here and I just think most of it is uncalled for, it’s rude and no matter how bad you hate someone you shouldn’t go as far as they went.
Please come back asap because your opinions do matter to some people and when you comment on a group giving advice you shouldn’t get hate for it like you’re getting.

Well, I’ll take my break anyway, it’s hard to cope with the amount of random hate i get daily.
I understand what you say and I believe i have a way to solve the site’s toxicity. Jack once upon a time claimed i was ‘brainwashing’ users into being more like me, spiteful little so and sos that hate scarf figs and only want plot animations. I’ve decided that i can use this for the greater good by just being nice, getting rid of my evil self and try to be more nice once in a while. My pervertedness won’t go away but that’s just who i am and besides, nothing’s wrong with sexual stuff.

I agree that the community has gone to s**t too, tbh. It’s just gone to utter garbage at this point, with numerous sides and factors. We have the edgy scarfies, generic-haters, neutrals, children, etc. This community has gone deeper than the Challenger Deep of the Mariana Trench. It’s better just to treat everyone here like an actual normal f**king person, rather than just calling them arsehats, and d**ks. Calling them those things just seem like bulls**t that wont even do anything else other than just to cause flame wars. The toxicity of this community has just overflown in my opinion, and I’ve started noticing this already like ever since mid-2017. I just never bothered speaking up about it publicly, knowing that it’ll just lead to even more s**t. This is a great decision, and hopefully this break will not only let you become better, but hopefully let other people be better. Fin.

As someone who’s been here since about a month after the website’s first stickfigure was uploaded, seeing this place become a amalgamation of scarf figures and bad animations kind of pushed me off the edge and I can see how that combined with others did that to you too. Taking a break helps, no matter how long it is, I had a pretty big argument in the comments once and it drove me to take a break from the site for about 2 years. Basically, i don’t act aggressive because it’s for a laugh, I’m using psychology to my advantage.
The brain naturally remembers negative information, it makes it afraid. By tying aggressiveness with tips, you’re scaring the brain into thinking “i really need to do that so I don’t get yelled at again”.
