As I said in the beginning of my rant, I did see it before you unblocked me, as I could just log-out to see your posts.
My main issue is the first part and that’s the lack of more personal apologies. You can give a general apology to the community as a whole, but it’s also presumed in most public apologies that you have to name names and apologize to them if you mistreated them.
Went back to the apology and re-read it, and used ctrl F, you mention Toxic once in a neutral light, and didn’t apologize. You never mention Squido, and you mention HOWF once. Now I’m gonna be more lenient on the HOWF thing because it’s not like half of HOWF has been the nicest to you, but you should’ve apologized to the other two.

I can say a blank statement ‘sorry’ but if I don’t actually name the names of the people I’ve mistreated it’d might aswell be auto-generated.
It’d be like if you just got straight cash on your birthday every time. Not even a giftcard, just cash. Some would be just fine, but it’s mostly common sense that you shouldn’t do that every time because it’s impersonal.
You don’t say “sorry everybody” when you call an individual dude a butthole. When you do something specific to a specific person, you say what you did, you say you’re sorry for doing it, and you say you’re going to refrain from doing it. Even if you’re apologizing to everyone, you should at least mention the occurrences that have impacted everyone and not just dismiss it as “toxicity” and “criticism.”
People are getting mad because you’re apologizing and not mentioning what you did that requires an apology, you’re just summing it up as “toxicity” and trying to take the easy route out of things by going all “let’s just move on and be friends rather than face our problems,” it’s rather insulting for the people impacted by this that you’re saying we should take all of this to heart.

Tearing someone down isn’t something I want. Making sure someone gets the justice they deserve is what I’m looking for.
Him breaking down is unfortunate indeed, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that he’s done bad stuff and people need to know about it.

I honestly do not know why just making a post @-ing Squido and Toxic and just saying sorry is such a big deal for him.
He made a mistake but instead of quickly remedying it and completely making my post out-dated and wrong, BUT CHOOSES TO DEFEND THE FACT HE DIDN’T ACTUALLY APOLOGIZE PROPERLY.
There’s only sooooo much you can put on simple social ineptitude, but if it is that, why does he refuse to correct himself?

I ctrl+F’d his apology post and he never mentioned what he did to Squido, and he didn’t actually personally apologize to Toxic. As Toxic says in his post above, when you do something to an individual, then you apologize to that individual
