    • iirc medic side bags should be much bigger to fit a lot of bandages, tourniquets, morphine etc and there should be a folded stretcher in a backpack (which contains the rest of the medic’s usual soldier gear such as mags, rations, water etc)

Considering this is 60 years into the future, things like morphine will be more potent, require smaller doses and naturally be smaller rather than the same size. Backback stuff is not gonna be in this pack just like the other packs to keep in simple for the scenarios I am currently working on in the series.

i mean considering this is 60 years in the future so idk what will be the status of the FAST helmet then (most likely about as relevant as a brodie helmet today) so i cant say for sure but most PL characters look to be special forces guys by modern standards so i guess backpacks and stuff that will usually be seen on regular infantrymen is not gonna be as common here but im guessing for realism’s sake youre gonna eventually have to make less special looking infantry dudes if this series is ever gonna go in the direction of a full on war which is where it is obviously going

80 years after WW2, german style helmets are still in use. At the same time, what special forces use now is standard to units in this time period which is what I’m going for. Different, more durable materials are used with existing designs and various accessories go along with existing gear. What I’m going for will be clearer along the way.

well i doubt any major force still uses a steel helmet (although i will admit russia used their steel ssh68 helmet well into the 90’s and early 2000’s and the US used their m1 helmet until 2001) but i will admit the style (aka shape and what not) of the german stahlhelm is the influence of most PASGT like helmets
