        Just search ‘Explosion Effect Sprite’ there’s usually results, Shutterstock has some solid stuff so check there if nothing very useful comes up.

              Oh right okay.

              This just has more sprites and is larger in size.

              That would be hellish to make due to size, intricate parts, node limit and amount of sprites I’d need to make.

              Maybe just slow down the frame rate and add additional effects and shapes with filters. That should do it.

              If you find me a good effect from a sprite sheet with say around 5 – 10 sprites and a good amount of separate branching parts amongst each sprite, I’ll consider making it.

                Yeah, looking back, I could just use the same frame for multiple different frames
                Or just use a “home made” explosion using blurred, slightly transparent circles going super slow

                  I agree, I should be asleep but I insisted on having coffee with biscuits, it’s basically compulsory to me.

    • Not amazing but it’s all practice and still looks pretty good I think. Probably could’ve used a bunch of curved rounded segments atop a lighter colour to simulate the ‘hamon’ on the blade.

      Hamon: Just a little wavey marking on a blade, I’m sure there’s more of an explanation but that’s basically what it is.

        Still working on it, with these I go for function and looks rather than looks and keeping a Stickfigure in a set range of motion.

        For example: if you move an arm that has two segments meeting at the middle, you’d see tiny white lines there because of the tiny gap created, to avoid this I place two triangles.

        The only thing i’d see fit for change would probably be the hamon as mentioned.

        Still working on weapons though so i’m a little rusty.

    Nothing too crazy please, that’s why I’ve been sticking with Effects, they’re fairly well manageable and do well, they’re useful as well.

    Nice, hopefully progress holds up steady. I want to make more than just effects but they’re pretty well manageable to create and only take an hour or three which isn’t too rough.
