    • There could be archetypes, like a brute hierophant like the newer design and then the older one could be like a grunt or something.
      I like both tho.

I remembered that Hierophants spawn either by a Nekronian dying of extreme hunger or their heart being ripped out (and eaten) by another Hierophant. It’ll be cool if they have like demonic rituals to spawn a horde of them.

I should use both designs, the one on the left is called a rabid Hierophant, and those are the ones that are spawned from hunger, hence the bone-thin appearance and bigger hunger.

Yeah, it’s always cooler to have diversity in your enemies. Zombies wouldn’t still be a thing if people didn’t make different types.

  • Issues with each of the versions:

    1. Crooked parts, too cumbersome for how I imagined it
    2. Top part removed makes it look weird. Handle node where the hand connected was too high
    3. Perfection

  • Card game WIP, made a lil comic with the living room figure before I remake it. Syfir, along with training intensively, like to play various card games, and he and Max share a love for unusual foods.

Syfir’s that type to hide everything behind a quiet and kind vibe, he doesn’t want his friends to worry about him.

  • Max the Weaponsmith

Max has a Mask Shop, but if you go into his shop and say the code “Maximum Fire”, he’ll take you to a floor below his Mask Shop, where he sells hand-crafted weapons, from firearms to the sharpest of swords, as well as customized weapons. Every weapon has his brand’s name on it, somewhere.

This is a basic but trusty auto-rifle, that are used by many such as the droids in the Battlesphere I mentioned in an a earlier post, Syfir’s gun was modified from this, and anyone who buys/customizes it.

Here’s a quick list of weapons I’m planning to make for a lil’ something.

    1. Auto Rifle
    2. SMG
    3. Sniper
    4. Knife
    5. Shield
    6. Grenade

Simply make the figure really big, then take one picture of the top half, then another at the lower half. I recommend doing this frame-by-frame, so you can use the onion skin to see where the top half cuts. Then, just post it in the right order and it should look all good 👍

  • Hierophants and the Planet Nekros

Hierophants of the Darkness are demonic beings that terrorize Nekros (fka Scuron), Syfir’s planet. They live for destruction, killing, eating, and generally posing a threat to the people. These creatures live in the depths of the darkest caves, and are spawned from two ways.

    1. A Nekronian dying of extreme hunger
    2. A Hierophant eating the heart of a Nekronian

They get their name from their main purpose: messengers. No one can understand their cryptic ramblings, but Hierophants constantly warble and make odd, deep pitched noises that can only be described as their own language. The Darkness, and almighty and all-knowing being that is the closest thing Nekros will ever get to a “God”, has never been seen and is the reason for all the various demons and attacks These Hierophants are the first sign of an attack or a disaster, a bad omen; the message of death itself.

Although the Darkness sounds and seems like a Devil of some sort, he is actually the planet’s Guardian (my universe’s ver. of gods). In order to wield Umbral Aether, the user must have a void, a darkness in them, mentally and emotionally. In the eyes of the Darkness, his doings only fuel that power, and should be seen as a gift, as a reason to fight with Umbral. The common sense of Nekronians, however, hate this philosophy and do everything in their power to stop the demons that are sent.

Like most Nekronians, Syfir has a dark, sad past that he never likes to speak of, which is why he carries a depressed, quiet yet angry aura around. His best friend, a girl named Akira, 16 like he was at the time (now 17), was his only joy, his only flicker of love. She couldn’t see it, because he didn’t know how to show it, but he loved her with every part of his heart. On one fateful day, Akira was swept into a massive attack, and got caught by a crowd of Hierophants. Burning tears of anger in eyes, Syfir fought as hard as he could, but to his despair, it was too late. After all this, the hardest part was having to kill his friend, now turned a Hierophant.

    —————————————————————

Hierophants are going to look like a lean-infused mix of a Psion from Destiny 2 (pic 2) and an imp from Doom (pic 3) because I just got it and it’s amazing.

    Does anyone actually read these…

  • (Please note my knowledge of different fighting styles isn’t exactly abundant, this is just a concept of Max’s defensive fighting style based on random google searches.)

Max fights with a mainly defensive fighting style, a mix of Muay Thai and Boxing. While the style of these two’s combination is mainly defensive, it doesn’t fall short in a quick but brutal offensive for the right moments.

Now I gotta figure out how to animate this…

  • Enter the Battlesphere
This idea came by mishearing the word “atmosphere” in a song, I thought he said something like “Battle-sphere” so this got me thinking, scheming, eating, and I came up with this.

The size of the Battlesphere is about 3 Football yards in diameter, same for the height. Made from air-tight, bulletproof glass, the Battlesphere hovers in Grodot’s sky, a galactic battlefield for entertainment and training.

All across the Battlesphere are floating platforms, some with walls, barricades, or small forts, coded with a stripe bordering the floor to represent the size of it. Red are the smallest, blue are the biggest. In the center (diameter ig) of it all, lays a massive bridge going from end to end. At the two ends of the bridge are two, three-level fortresses, that can be bought with metal tags that are contained in the heads of the Battle droids, Steel combat dummies programmed and modified for the Battlesphere. These were provided my Max himself as a bet to participate for free if he made 2000 within a week…He won. About 5 tags are in the Steel Droids, but every 10 minutes a wave of 100 Gold Droids are let in with the usual 1000 Steel ones that are in every round, that carry 20 each.

In four quarters of the inside float four, white-color coded square platforms where the 4 teams spawn. Battlesphere events happen semiannually, one with four planets, and the other with all eight, two per team. As long as enough people join, matches can be called by anyone, at anytime, but only the semiannual events have rewards.

The goal of this game is to save up 5000 steel tags, unlock the circular zone in the center of the bridge (and the whole sphere) then keep control of it for 5 minutes straight. If a match is called where there are teams of 2, they have to maintain control of it for 2 minutes and 50 seconds. In the usual 4 team matches or events, the limit per team is 10.

Anyway, preparations, announcements before the game, team forming, and other things are all done in a round building that stays under the Battlesphere. If someone is killed in-game, strange magic revives them, takes them to a cell in the building for 10 seconds, then the “respawn” in a random area of the sphere.

Imagine saying this all in one breath.
