The Story

Max is away visiting another planet. More snow has piled up than ever before, and Bagel, Nick, and Billy the Biscuit are all bored in their cozy little winter cabin. Bagel—translated by RUBY—comes up with the idea to gather the residents of Stick Nodes for the ultimate Snowball Fight!

That’s all you need to do folks, I will be animating and hopefully finishing this before Christmas. Please note that commenting doesn’t immediately guarantee a spot in the animation, things like time constraints, the number of participants, and other factors like reputation all play a part in who gets in or not. I will try my best, however, to include everyone.

Reaper’s Guitar

So Nick’s guitar started feeling really boring to me, I didn’t really know what to do with it. After much thought (lol imagine), I decided to change it into an axe/scythe hybrid that allows him to wield his musical Arc in a new way.

Once the blade is activated, Nick can charge up a very sharp Arc Note in the inner curve. While charging, the guitar makes a squealing feedback noise, and does this until Nick launches the note. The following moments of this attack include a beautiful power chord and a lot of damage, as these sharp, shuriken-like notes fly like bullets. Another one of his favorite attacks is usually used to close in distances and makes for a good unexpected attack: He plays three notes in a certain order (going up or down in pitch), then absorbs the visual Arc in front of him to rocket launch himself forward. If he played those notes going up in pitch, he will launch in an upward slant. Same thing with down, as well as a straight path if the three notes are the same.

And of course, the scythe and axe on the other side are perfectly functional and can be used as a regular melee weapon if he so chooses.

I’ve been messing with drawing figures and angles for a little while now, and felt the need to draw this. I think I did pretty well for what I wanted to do

The Emperor

Emperor Lucian Bellator has a blurry backstory as of now, but I can explain his abilities.

His suit uses an energy supply meant to mirror that of a basic Arc Crystal, and can even adapt to form some sort of technology. A good example of this is the Kraken, a HiveMind (like Nick’s HiveMind RUBY) that sends strategies, intel, and a little UI directly into Bellator’s helmet. However, it becomes quickly obvious that the Kraken is more than just a piece of technology. For example, Bellator can use the Kraken to summon massive tentacles from his hand. He can also charge up a blast from the eye of the Kraken to sear and burn his way through things. As if this wasn’t enough, the Kraken has memorized Bellator’s entire body and armor, down to the atoms. If injured, Bellator will slowly be healed via replication energy from the Kraken, though it’s effect is limited as it gets slower the worse the injury is.

Every now and then, Bellator can tap into a portion of the Kraken’s power himself, entering Berserk mode. During this, his judgement is extremely clouded, but he gains massively increased strength, speed, and healing ability. The scary part about this is his body, which becomes a sort of voodoo doll for the Kraken. It appears as though each limb has a mind of it’s own, making odd but incredibly effective jumps, twists, and lunges.

As far as the armor itself, the most notable thing about it is his boots, which can give him a little push for a lunge attack or a double jump. The rest is flair, like his helmet’s plume, cape, removable pauldrons, etc. I plan to give him a really big sword, but I’m kinda tired right now.

Stompers

Once it’s done, most of the blue parts (except for the wires and shit) are going to be on fire. His helmet is going to have one of those long puffy plumes, but it’s just a big flow of blue fire as well.

I think I’m going to get started on the Validus, those ten-foot soldiers I mentioned a while back.

The only weapons I didn’t use were

– Anvil [on a stick]
– Shovel
– Trident

Agaric Soldiers

(After discarding my last idea of bug-related enemies, I came to the conclusion that fungus would be cool because baked goods catch mold easily.)

The soldiers of a secluded forest kingdoms known as Agaria will be the most common enemy seen in Billy’s series. Mutations of your typical Fly Agaric Mushroom, these red goons are equipped with a sturdy helmet cap and a branch spear, tipped with the same material their caps are made of. These little red prongs are meant to infect the inside of a wound with fungal matter, further accelerating the mold process. Agaric soldiers are very well disciplined, and they will use endless determination, strategy, and the sheer number of these things to overwhelm their enemy.

A common tactic among the soldiers is to burrow themselves into the ground, so that only the cap is sticking out, and use a mycelium network to communicate. Once an intruder walks into their group, they alert each other and jump out from their holes, spears and formation ready.
