𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑
This is a competition that tests the weapon-making skills of the SN Community.
Description
Users will be given a weapon to create, and they will have 10 days to make it. There will most likely be a total of 5 weapons this year. Our judges (Biscuit, Warlock, and InfiniteGuess) will base their scores on:
– Accuracy to Weapon / 10
– Weapon’s Functionality / 10
– Design and Style Points / 10
Rules
Next are the rules that must be followed while making the weapons and in the group as a whole.
1. Please make the weapon that was listed, not whatever you decide is right. Doing so will drop your weapon’s score to 0.
2. Lack of completion before the week results in no points.
3. One stick-figure per weapon. Accessories like sheaths are excluded from this and can be made separate.
4. Only stickfigures! This is not a test of one’s drawing or art skills, this is a test of their figure-making skills. Sprites will NOT be allowed, sorry.

– Description or lore if you made any
– Picture of the weapon with node counts
– File of the weapon
If you submit your figures to the stick page, we would appreciate it if the submission name started with “FC23”.

I think judges shouldn’t be able to score their own weapons, but other judges can score their weapons. I feel like there’s always that one guy who would score their weapon really well out of bias.

The week’s score is a total of all three judges’ scores. That leads me to the problem here; judges would only receive two scores and subsequently fall behind because of the lack of a third person.

Well yes but actually no. The judges personal score of their own stickfigure should be an average of the other two judges scores on it. For example, if judge 1 and 2 score judge 3’s stickfigure 6 and 8, judge 3’s score from themselves would be 7.

No, I honestly don’t think judges should get scores at all. With any contest, judges are bystanders to rate the competitors, not competitors themselves. If you want to make something to coincide with the weeks, that’s fine by me, but judges getting judged isn’t something that should be done, imo

I honestly don’t think so. Depending on how you rank your skills, they’re either gonna give themself a very bias and unfair rating, or just trash talk their own work.
I feel like if a judge wants a rating on their their own creation, have the other judges rate it for you. 🤔 same goes for the other judges. That way, everyone gets a rating. Maybe? Just spitballing ideas.

Enjoy the polearms.“La Lanza Sin Alma” or known as “Reaper’s Spear has unknown origins, but some from Spain say it was used by the grim reaper to take souls with the curved spike, and some say it was forged for executions for different elementals. The fabric on the spear can changed color depending on what element or magic you intend to use. It’s can go from elemental fire, ice, wind, and electricity, to magical ability to be a boomerang, attack souls, and fire plasma slashes. If the holder has an ability the spear possesses, that ability for the spear is increased 20x its original potency. The spear’s ability can be cancelled for a bit if hit by an opposing element that the spear is currently using (Like if a fire attack hits the spear during it’s ice ability).
