While a small group, their insignias were powerful and Marked people who were simply just jerks kept joining them. That leads us to today. Unnamed kingdom is fighting a downhill war against the group, and there doesnt seem to be much hope for winning.

My first post in months and it’s in this group. Huh.
After an overwhelming amount of thought about the story, I think I have a story im happy with.
Lets start with how people get insignias. There are many rumors surrounding the origin of insignias. One popular one is that those have insignias, (who I will now describe as ‘Marked’) are distant descendants of the actual greek gods their insignia is named after. However, it’s just a rumor.
Now for the actual story. I want it to be a Civil-War type deal. The Olympian Representatives are officially named the Crown Council, but they are nicknamed the Olympian Representatives by the kingdom due to most of them having olympian insignias.
The main villain’s insignia is too powerful for their body. I won’t tell you what I wanna do with this.
I really, REALLY wanna add a charismatic villain with a top hat and a time-themed insignia i just love charismatic villains with top hats dusbhawagrgagrgagrgagrg

Story facts?
I want music boxes to be a big part of the music in the series, this is because of an entity who’s existence is only implied called the Tranquil. Basically he makes music boxes and is god (named the tranquil because music boxes are calming)
In this series, Heaven and Hell do exist. But there is a 3rd afterlife for marked humans when they die, called the “Chess Table” where they are in a black void with a replica of the god their Insignia is based on, playing chess for eternity. they cannot feel emotion in the Chess Table, so they never get bored.
The series takes place in an alternate universe to Greek Mythology, where people who the gods saw as worthy at birth would be given an insignia. zeus is also significantly less horny
The unnamed kingdom is led by a council of 12 people who vote on changes called the “Olympian Representatives” headed by the king who only votes as a tiebreaker. Most Olympian Representatives have insignias based off of the Olympians

A few character ideas.
Arla – Insignia : Apollo, god of Truth and Knowledge
Apollo – Able to see exactly one week into the future, and find if someone is Marked or Normal.
Arla is a librarian. She’s often tired and sleeps at the library some nights. Probably wont be with the main characters along their journey, and will appear at the start and at random moments in episodes.Alek – Insignia : Ares, god of War
Ares – Able to summon weapons at will.
Alek is a bandit, and Arla’s brother. They rarely talk to each other and don’ get along when they do. He will be a main character. He’s arrogant, rude, but has a secret soft side towards children. No, hes not a pe**.Cernus – Insignia : Hephaestus, god of Metalworking and Fire
Hephaestus – Able to create and control fire. Resistant to high temperatures.
Cernus is the commander of the Unnamed Kingdom’s military, and will be a main character. He almost never talks unless theres something important to say.Let me know your thoughts.

Ability : Can see exactly 1 week into the future, but only 1 week into the future, not in between or after.Hades
Greek god of Death, and King of the Underworld
Strong Point : Hands
Ability : Only 1 ability that I could think of so far. If Hades’ user touches someone for 10 seconds they are killed. In foresight, this is too powerful, But cmon, its obviously the main villains insignia, what did you expect?Dio could stop time. Thanos was able to obliterate half the universe with a snap of his fingers.

So I have a good idea down for the story. Basically, there are 3 clans. Zephyrin, Heroth, and Geran. Zephyrin is Peaceful, and doesnt have that much of a military. Heroth and Geran did, and they were fighting for territory while Zephyrin kinda just sat in the corner. Basically, Heroth started winning and Geran didnt like that, so they got up to some shady shit and started fucking Zephyrin up. Now Geran starts fucking Heroth up, and this is where the story starts.

Basically, a series set in medieval times but some people have these special powers called “Insignias,” theyre all named after Greek Gods and do lots of stuff and they all have these strong points on the body where the Insignias are strongest

Forgot to mention : if a marked person has a child, their insignia is passed onto that child and they become a normal person again. If a marked person dies, their insignia is passed onto a random person.
