Node Arena 2.0
This group is for people who want to fight and level up, basically the Node Arena resurrection.
In order to participate and challenge other users you must first upload an image of your character, mention their characteristics, powers, weaknesses, personality, etc. (Please make it short and to the point, we don’t want to read a novel)
Rules:
-No Scarf users.
-No Gore or Deaths in your anims.
-figs are not allowed to be basic. You don’t need to have Explosive Bullet levels of detail but a genuinely good OC is required. If you are unsure if your OC is good enough, please @ Epitaph.
-please avoid the term ‘RHG’, it is a Scarf Term, we use OCs remember.
-You can only use the name of the group in the video if it is a real battle of the Node Arena 2.0.
-You can add music in your vids (always good to ask Epitaph as he listens to that kind of stuff every day).
-You must mention me or Epitaph or any of the administrators when uploading your video and present it in the group.
-No DAMN Drama !!!! If you are caught starting drama, you will be immediately banned.
-You must add at the beginning of the video the OFFICIAL intro of the Node Arena 2.0

Soon I will ask one of the users (Epitaph lol) to make an intro that you must put at the beginning of each battle.
The users are divided into three classes:
-Uber (incredibly powerful, hard to kill, use unfair abilities all the time, can perform extremely powerful techniques, godlike weapons)
-Advanced (can take and deal some damage, can perform advanced techniques and uses powerful weapons)
-Basic (has a normal weapon, is fair, cannot teleport)
I or one of the administrators (lol Epitaph) will classify your character according to their powers, abilities, weaknesses, etc.
User classes are classified so that there are no unfair battles. This means no Basics will get anally raped by any Ubers.
If you win a fight you win 10 Points, 5 Points per participant, and -10 Points if you withdraw from a battle.
The prize for each fight won is variable.
It can be as harmless as giving the winner a shoutout on your YouTube channel or a good fig creator making a awesome fig for the winner to something quite grown up like actual betting for the 18+ users.

Thought I should get myself set up here. So here is my character, or at least one of them. He’s a veteran with years of experience on the battlefield. On top of his experience on the battlefield, he has been genetically modified with enhanced reflex, strength, agility and endurance. He’s learned to create much of his own gear and has even created a robot that is not near as powerful as he himself is but proves to be quite the challenge. His armor is powered to remove the weight of the armor through many actuators for each limb that follow the movement of the user. The armor is also equipped with a device that allows him to teleport a maximum of 4 times in 1 minute only in a radius of 6 meters. His armor is also outfitted with a cloaking device that is rarely used as it pulls power that is used in the actuators away, making the armor heavier when cloaked. The jetpack on his back allows him to take an advantage in the air for 30 seconds so long as the jetpack isn’t hit. The jetpack also allows him to scale walls and accelerate himself when running and when attacking. Without any enhancements within the armor, he is able to lift a single tonne with some struggle due to genetic modifications. His armor is fire resistant as well as resistant to the cold. The armor resists damage by 68% from blunt to swords to bullets going up to 50 caliber. He can also take 2 punches and 6 bullets or a single slash from a weapon before his health is effected as the armor is outfitted with overshields like the ones you see in halo, but with a much slower recharge rate. He has numerous weapons in his arsenal including 2 combat knifes, an M249 SAW with 4 barrels shooting at a rate of 15 rounds per second while firing rounds that penetrate wood and thin concrete surfaces and explode on target. He also will use a Barrett M107 Sniper rifle firing 50 caliber rounds that penetrate any material leaving it up to density and thickness of the object to stop the round. His last 2 weapons are an M4A1 and a Desert Eagle. In CQC he will use technics such as disarming his opponent, grappling and occasionally countering attacks. He’s overall an elite in CQC and isn’t defeated too easily in it. In gunfighting, he reloads quick and hits about 60% of the shots he takes at people. If the battle is not in his favor, he will stun his opponent with a good hard gun wack or stab with his one stun knife then will bring in a suit of his special T60 power armor that quintuple his health with an overshield that is twice as good as the one in his current armor but slows him down by 25%.
My idea of his abilities are:
Intelligence: 72/100
Strength: 90
Guns: 95/100
Health: 250
Hand to Hand: 70/100
Armed CQC: 60/100
And I don’t think I will put too much more into this as it’s judged by the admins here so yeah.Weaknesses include:
-Hits to the jetpack will send him flying in uncontrollable directions in flight.-Heavy doses of electricity causes certain abilities of his armor to stop functioning for 10 seconds and causes him to slow down.

Hiashi “Shadey” Takahashi
Powers: Pyrokinesis(manipulation of fire) and Infernokinesis(manipulation of hell fire)
– Has a technique mode named infano basuto which makes him faster and stronger.
– He was made a part demon by touching a demonic flame gem which is also how he got his fire power
– If consumed with anger and grief he can finally tap into his demon form for the first time and the able to use Infernokinesis
– He’s great in kasaijustu or just any martial arts
-He can create explosions with his hands which would be great in combat
-In his demon form he uses this big move call Blue Blaze. Its burns the enemy greatly but slowly and can only be put out by the user. The fire from that can last for 7 days.
-Has a katana and throwing hat blade
– Being part demon gives him abilities such as being very agile and persistent, extraordinary strength and the ability to jump very high.Limitations: When in demon form, Shadey is hard to control and it can lead to lots of destruction and can cause shadey to be fully possessed in demon form. Especially with his hell fire manipulation. These flames cant be put out by water ice or strongest of wind and is hard to control as well. It can be put out by holy water or just by shadey himself.
-As for normal fire manipulation, its basic weaknesses are with ice, water, cold temperature.
*(Shadey\’s parents were great journalist and explorers who have done some of the greatest reasearch ever. Sadly his parents were killed in a car accident)*One day as Shadey was upon the forest, he stumbled donw a steep hill, barreling himself into a ditch. In confusion of what had happen, he tried to figure out how he would come out of the ditch. Even if it was a ditch, it was pretty spacious, with a leveled floor with, and the sun shine through the large opening he created, which helped him to see more clearly.. He then realized he was within ruins of some sort of underground chamber. As he walked around to hopefully find some sort door, he saw a bright ray of red shining through a wall of dirt. It seemed to be a gem that was nearly submerged with in the wall. With his bare hands, he scratched and scratched through the wall, and finally , the scarlet red gem was revealed. Shadey grabbed the gem and marveled upon it. But even so if the gem was a piece of beauty, there was something strange about it. Within the gem, were great flames that were roaring, and on the outside of the gem, there was a writing engraved in it, but it was of an ancient language. Shadey recognized this ancient language that his parents taught him as childbut he couldnt understand the words to it. So in no hesitation, he place the gem in his bag, found a door that led to the outside and quickly ran home.Ill make the rest later cuz its 1am

Im not finished with the bg story. And also forgot to add that he was about 7 when his parents die. I think that if i came up with something like: his parents were killed, now hes coming back for revenge and is full of hatred and stuff, then that would sound very generic. And there is only one form, no other ones. And made it balanced out buy making that form vigorously hard to control.

And if you thought that the infano basuto technique is a demon form, its not. Its japanese for inferno burst. He creates an actual fire within his body and converts the fire into a gaseous energy that spread internally through his body, giving him a red glow externally. Its a technique he created himself.

Yes. He doesn’t look completely like a whole damn demon, with tail or spikes or skin color change. There just a change with the normal fire power cuz it changes to hell fire which is hotter than normal fire especially if blue. His teeth gets a bit a bit sharp, the surface of his skin gets harder than it is, and eye pupil changes.

Your villains clearly are very basic and not well made.
Okay, story was pretty average, seen very similar many times. However, quality in lore isn’t exactly what the Node Arena needs, it just needs to give a valid reason as to why he’d end up in a random fight.
My main problem from what I’ve seen of him is your character.
Katanas are far too overused, use something other than a Tachi, just use an Odachi (big ass katana),
Get rid of the blades on the hat, it’s also really generic and wouldn’t even work, you’d slice your hand open when catching it. Use something like a blowpipe or as the Japanese did, a bow for your ranged weapon.
If you have any, get rid of the Kunai.
Add to his actual design because a base fig won’t cut it, we want detail.

Celestial Blade: A gunblade (like the one in FFXIII) that uses Xen’s energy to fire shots that are highly compressed and can split up into how many shots as he wants, and it’s able to cut through anything, no matter the mass, or density
Star Vacuum: A glaive boomerang that if thrown with Xen’s energy, can pull enemies towards it and can rip most enemies to shreds
Planetary Gauntlets: A pair of gauntlets that increases Xen’s punches by a 10000 times, and if his energy’s is applied, he can shoot out the same shots as the Celestial Blade but fragmented like shotgun shots

Notes: From the curses on his arms, he can summon these weapons on will, but only one of each can exist at a timeEquipment:
Mask: This is one of his most crucial things to survive, this mask holds one of his energy regulators. This mask is made of a lightweight, but the most densest material in his universe. This also holds his hacking equipment so he can easily disrupt the enemy’s tech.
Vest: Just in case the enemy chooses to stab him in the gut or heart, he has a vest made of the same material as his mask. It also holds some nanotechnology that can protect some of his body and improve it, something like Iron Man in Infinity War.
Micro-bombs: Normal sized frag grenades which got shrunk and can resize at a press of a button.Personality:
Even though he looks edgy, he’s actually friendly, if he trusts you, you’ll be able to befriend him. But if you piss him off by either hurting his best friends, threaten him, or cut a single piece of his hair, he will fight you without any regret. Though if you kill the ones he holds dear, he will stop at nothing to end your existence. But overall, he’s just a nice guy who wants to hang around people.Backstory:
When he and his brother were just 12, they were having a fun life, it was just their birthday, but obviously there has to be conflict, in their universe, their Earth had originally had the same population as the real life Earth, but with one twist, the whole entire universe had superpowers, either physical, mental, elemental, ethereal, etc. And both brothers had a power which they can possess more than one, but there was one flaw in this. The reason why I said ‘had’ instead of ‘has’, is because, more than half the population had safe powers, but the remaining had dangerous powers that couldn’t be contained safely without special energy regulators, the brothers landed onto the danger zone. Xen had the safe powers of telepathy, mind reading, super-human like enhancements, super-intelligence, and shadow and dark manipulation. But on the danger side, he has gravity manipulation, power multiplier, and he has a limitless energy limit and a infinite recharge in his power. His brother has similar powers but, that’s a different story, and here’s the thing with dangerous powers, either they turn to villains, or they die due to too much power. Luckily, their parents were surgeons and went to operate on them and added their power regulators. And so, they joined the world as super-powered people, they did normal things like head to school, get friends, and learn sh*t. But when they were in 10th grade, a humanoid alien arrived and some bad stuff happened, this alien had the power to transfer his soul into another’s body, keeping the previous body’s powers and keeping the current body’s powers as well, this alien was called Korrupt. I’m getting lazy so, Alien went to Xen’s brother’s body, possessed his powers, they fought and destroyed half a city, the Alien won, but took pity on Xen and promised him that if he could beat him, he would return his brother and his powers back to him, but until then, he’ll rule over the universe. So he now trains to fight for his brother and his limits to go beyond(PLUS ULTRA!) Korrupt’s.Weaknesses:
-Can’t take too many heavy hits or he’ll take serious damage
-Hates peanuts
-If his mask and/or regulator is damaged, he’ll go berserk and lose control over himself and needs external help to stop him
