Replying to:
I’m sorry you feel that way, I understand from a certain point of view it can seem overwhelming, the sheer amount of people who dislike certain things and appearances but there are also countless, hundreds even others who like who you are as much as your looks.
If people just have to focus on looks for you then they are seriously missing out on everything else. Keep your chin up and try and accept what you have, there’s always room for improvement no matter what, that’s how we all see ourselves so the first thing you should do is just accept what you have.
-
Replying to:
Man you should make a group purely for this only. This is actual important life advice that most people don’t know.
-
Replying to:
Like a vent group? I believe that’s already a thing.
Maybe some kind of support group for real life problems and issues and to have people able to talk it over with others.

I’d like to know how life was for Haruo Nakajima
If you don’t know: Haruo Nakajima could be credited as the man who made Godzilla. He played the original Gojira up to Godzilla Vs. Gigan and for me, It’d be Interesting to see what It was like when having to wear the Infamous Suit.-
Replying to:
I don’t mean to get involved with whatever drama or distaste people have towards you as generally it doesn’t concern me but just as a pointer for your own sake, I think making jokes like that, not necessarily the dark humour kind but just the lame kind isn’t going to fare too well.
You’re still reasonably okay, personally I don’t know enough or really see a huge issue, I think you just annoy some people and it’s been made a thing to dislike you what with the comparisons to Invader etc.
My advice to you now not just for the site but in general to be able to make more friends and have better opinions from others about you is not to take a ‘I don’t care, this is dumb humor’ kind of thing or ‘I guess I’m the annoying one, that’s kind of a personality trope’. It’s your call how you want to be but just aim to not overdo your jokes and whatnot, it usually falls flat and in some cases can be annoying hence the backlash.
I apologise for the irrelevancy and length of this but I just wanted to say that considering you remarked on your change of heart for what you were going to say and then didn’t. I don’t believe you need much to improve, just be more wary of how you come across and if you don’t know what to say or do, say nothing at all.
-
-
Perhaps Neil Armstrong.
I’m probably never gonna go to space or anything, but I wanna know what it was like to be on Earth’s neighboring satellite.
To stare at 4 billions of years of Earth’s existence, from the first cells who eventually became multi-cellular, and the first animal that existed, to the first animal to walk on land, to stare at all of what human’s could potentially become, looking down on all of our aspirations, our goals in reality, all of the structures we have placed, all we have done to survive, to look at all of it and be able to place behind our thumb, at a place no human ever set foot on before until now.
To know that feeling would summarize all about humans that I missed and will miss, from our conception to our death, and I wouldn’t need to know anymore what it would’ve been like, because this is exactly what every moment would be like. To stand in a revolutionary point in time, at the same magnitude as having discovered fire.
One of the most crucial moments in humanity to becoming a successful civilization.

Unofficial Question Of The Day By ChallasAre you actually interested in figure-related lore made by other users or do you scroll past the post?
If you have read some lore ideas of fellow Sticknoders, which one is your favourite?
-
most of the time no, but there are the rare exceptions
-
I am interested yes, but I can’t choose favorites because of just how many users there are
-
Eh sometimes
-
I read some of them, I don’t think I could choose just one person as a favourite though, there’s some pretty well written stuff by a lot of users.
-
I’m only interested in figure lore when it fits these following things:
1. Proper grammar and spelling
2. Proper paragraph separation
3. Pictures of the actual OC
The OC preferably actually looks good too.
So people like MelodyMuse make lore worth reading. Otherwise I don’t care much for OC lore because it’s usually lame and/or hard to read. -
I’m Interested in basically any lore
I’m fairly certain nobody can say the same for my OC’s lol
-
I am 100% percent interested. One of my passions is writing, besides filmmaking and animation, it’s always fun to read and ever better to write.
-
only if there is a cool pic
-
it depends what type of stickfigure it is. I usually look at the lore if I like its design or If it’s a really simplistic one with stupidly convoluted lore,.
-
Oh heck yeah
Everyone on the site should hopefully be aware by now that storytelling is crack to me

Question of the day:Mentally how stable would you say you are in terms of happiness and generally how stable you are regularly?
Stable just being are you regularly okay without much need for any help mentally and of course the worse being the near complete opposite of that with a lot of attention required.
-
P.S: If you are unstable mentally quite often and unhappy, please seek help, nobody deserves to feel that way for long periods of time.

I’m neither tbh

My sanity has definitely dropped a tad due to the pandemic for the last 2 years
I lost friends, and dont have any form of contact with them due to me changing to homeschool for my saftey, i have lost my extroverted tendencies and dont know how to openly communicate as well as I used to.
I feel somewhat lonely.
However, I have been relatively happy, so thats cool ig
-
Replying to:
It’s been a rough time for so many, the affects of it are nothing to be ashamed of so try not to get too worked up over what’s changed or been lost, there’s still plenty of opportunities and times to rectify or fix what’s now broken or gone.
-
-
Very stable. Very happy. Even though I don’t have contact with my school friends during the summer chilling with my family and playing video games keeps me content.

I don’t know exactly where I fall on the scale, but I’m significantly lower than I would like to be.

-
Replying to:
Could be worse I guess
-
-
I’ll admit: I don’t actually got any IRL Friends and little Internet Friends, I’ve basically been quarantined before the pandemic ever started because of my dumb decisions, fucked up shit has happened and arguably one of the darkest times of my life so far only happened months ago (Specifically, Christmas 2021 and It lasted until January but even then, It still affects me and my family) and yet despite that, I got through all of that.
To put It simply: I am stable even with Emotional Disturbance and some massive shit that went on. I’m still eating Takis and Burgers and Pizza, still messing with my brother and sister and heck, I am now closer to my brother. We got a new cat (Her name is Wanda, I got her a month ago) and we’re watching movies left and right.
-
Replying to:
I respect that even through what you say you’ve faced you are still doing what you can to just get on with your life.
I don’t see all with what goes on for you in your life but I believe what I understand about you is all true, in which case keep doing what you’re doing.
I’ve been in similar positions and like you I have no irl friends right now nor have I for the past two or so years, maybe longer.

Every bit of positivity in me is shattered to pieces
One of my sibling just treats me like garbage. I could honestly be the happiest I’ve been in years but all it takes is one action from him and I’m depressed again
Simply, im just not doing well
-
Replying to:
I wouldn’t want to involve myself in problems you face unnecessarily but just understand that siblings are hard to get on with at times.
As time progresses however and you both aim to look for logic with things you can surely work things out.
I wish you well dude, you deserve all the best, don’t forget that.
-
-
This year has made me want to run into oncoming traffic forty times by now so not stable at all
But I’m at least doing well for now : )-
Replying to:
I can only give you my best wishes here but I wish I could do more, just try and take whatever it is causing you pain as a way to progress and grow, I find that choosing to be more proactive with your approach to your problems can help drastically, it’s still hard at times but whether we like it or not we can only keep moving on or stay where we are.
-
-
I’m quite Mentally hidden I’d
say. Nonetheless still very stable.Realised this is just me venting about internet & mental health
Can be seen as rude but still my personal opinion and I’m quite frankly sticking with itI never like to express my (sad) emotions. Just like you can make people happy with fun stories, you can make them sad with your personal problems. It’s contagious. I myself find that a selfish action. It’s obviously fine if you are being asked about your mental state just like this poll. Just randomly announcing your personal problems is just an big ick to me. I could be venting about my own problems too, but everyone has their own things to deal with.
I am always very sceptical of people’s “depression” on the internet as it’s mostly always self-diagnosed. Depression has been glorified so to speak and is almost like a social-media trend. Everyone calls themselves depressed.
I know that is harsh to say, but after personally losing a loved one from diagnosed depression it pisses me off rather than feeling empathic for others. I’m trying to move on, but other people talking about similar events just make it harder to accomplish that which leads to anger. Never been the guy to help people on the internet and never will/can be.
My advice would be: “Get yourself together twat”. Atleast this is what motivates me.
Funny thing is that it’s mostly the same type of people calling themselves depressed or very sad. There’s a pattern.Sorry for the vent. It’s 04:35 allow the frustration.
-
Replying to:
I’d allow it at any time, I agree with you on this.
Depression and mental problems need to be addressed at the right time, in the right way and as you say, whenever people announce their problems it seems imposing and strange. There isn’t properly a way to fix that person’s problems and if it’s a problem exclusive to their world, their reality there truly is nothing more we can do than offer our condolences.
Mentally I’d say I’m pretty in-line with how you are, closed-off but ultimately stable. I’ve been like this for what feels like since 2020 now and I’m thankful but I also feel that at times it can be a cut-off from being able to truly emotionally connect with some people, this could just be a problem on their behalf however not so much my own, either way I guess I’ll find out.
All the best to you Challas

I’m very happy! I just watched Thor: Love And Thunder with my dad. We aren’t on great terms, but we finally got to bond.

Replying to:
That’s awesome, I can’t wait to watch it, looks like a lot of fun.
Good for you and your dad as well, it’s always important to share time with loved ones where you can especially as a father and son.

Replying to:
Thanks. Thor was amazing, legit one of the best marvel movies in my opinion. It’s kinda like a big apology for Multiverse.
There is one thing that’s kinda bothering me.
Summer is almost over, with August being when I head to summer camp and then school afterwards. I want to make my mark before then. But that’s in twenty days. Less by now. It’s just very worrying.-
Replying to:
Just take it as it comes, I think in life when you dread or overly hype something too much you receive greater affect from it or either it takes you by surprise and nothing really happens that you might’ve expected.
I like to look at situations and things I don’t necessarily like as a way to progress and learn something even if it’s small. You’ll never know what you’ll possibly gain or lose unless you try. Live your life and don’t beat yourself up if you don’t accomplish what you wanted to.

Quite happy,
I know that im super positive compared to most people and it really helps me, plus my life is a pretty normal one so no complicated or dramatic stuffs really happens

-
-
Yes, 9/10, life treats me well, only thing I’m missing in my life is a girlfriend, otherwise things go good for me and I’d say I’m a pretty non-terrible person
-
Replying to:
I and I’m sure many others can relate, maybe try and keep in mind that even if you don’t have a girlfriend yet there are plenty of opportunities for you to in the future plus as you go along you’ll have more freedom and commitment so rather than a simple relationship you can commit a bit more once the right person comes along.
-
Replying to:
Fair point good sir

I think I’m quite content with the way my life is at the moment. Of course, things could easily be better, but I’m at least a little happy with the way I feel about things compared to the past few years. I’d definitely say I’m stable too, at least I think I am. I don’t feel much going wrong with my head, besides what I think is anxiety. I’m working on being a better person to the people around me and treating them respectfully, since there’ve been times when I didn’t do that. Overall, I’d say I’m a 7/10 at most.

I hear voices and I’m 85% sure it’s my conscience being loud as fuuuuuuuuuuu-

Question of the day: Backlog EditionWhat is the most amount of hours you have on a game and what game are you kind of surprised you have so many hours on?
-
Most: Roblox with almost 1000 hours somehow
Surprised: Once again Roblox but also kind of Yakuza 0, I have almost 100 hours on that and had I continued and played the rest I’d have more, it really does fly by.
-
My guy…I don’t even know lmfao
How do you check, like on a PlayStation for example?
-
Most games I don’t know how to check but on For Honor, definitely the game I’ve played the most the last couple months, I have about 18 days on it, no idea how many hours that is. That might not seem like much but I don’t actually play video games that much and it is surprising for me
-
Horizon Forbidden West. I’ve spent so much time on that game I’ve beaten it more than four times. I’m actually started my fifth playthrough recently. I need a life.
I’ve probably spent a month and a half playing that. -
Around 4000 hours on GTA 5.
This is all the hours on my ps3, ps4 & pc combined.
Been playing the game since the beginning and yet am not lvl 100.
Haven’t touched the game in almost a solid year.I am surprised that I have 600 hours on CSGO. It’s a shit game.
I used to play 7 hours a day a couple years back. Now it’s limited to 2-3 hours luckily.
-
Mixed Bag
It’s between Roblox and Minecraft in my phone lol
For the hours, I don’t even know EXACTLY Exactly but let’s say about 3-5 or about 6 hours per game per day… -
I have almost 1,500 hours for tf2 (i still suck though)
I also probably have even more hours in Minecraft since I played since 2012 or so
Roblox… dont know but it’s a lot probablyI’m most surprised that I have just about 1000 hours in gmod, as I don’t recall doing too much in it
-
i think minecraft nintendo swith has over 1800 hours by now. roblox prolly around 1000.
-
The most I have that are logged is about 21 hours on Apex I think.
I probably have more in roblox or destiny tho. -
geometry dash
1200+ hours and counting -
Do you believe in the definition of insanity ?
Because I replayed black ops 2, and get ready for this :
127 times
Oh, and you wanna know how many hours I have in Fallout 3 ?
2300 hours
No no, that’s not all, I have played all the Final Fantasy games, all of them combined is probably 1200 hours or something
So yes, I am a true gamer, now stop clapping.

Question of the day:What genre comes to mind for you when you think of Stickfigures, basically what is the very concept of stickfigures in games, animations etc and how do you imagine it’s genre to be?
For example:
What genre of music, visuals, style of art, pacing etc
-
When I think of Stickfigures
I think of Sticks…
-
This is a very hard to answer question…
I really don’t know. -
Easy, Fighting
Very early to present day stickfigure animations of stickmen beating each other up.
-
For me it’s early 2000s style beat em’ up animations and things, simplistic style stickfigures
Plus electronic genre music
-
Replying to:
laughed at the title
-
-
I think stickfigures would best fit cartoon-styled storytelling, for instance if you were to use Dodo Lord, he wouldn’t really look right as a 3D model. It feels more natural for him to be more on the cartoony side of things, where stuff doesn’t have to make as much sense or be physically possible to happen. Stickfigures are a good way to accomplish this, and a lot less time consuming than drawing an entire cartoon, so they’re the best choice for making stories or skits with him.
-
I don’t think we can confine it to one genre, there’s so many Stickfigures can embody.
It’s a form of storytelling, humor, violence, and passion. -
scarves, elemental powers, and loud obnoxious dubstep

Question of the day:What is a strange fear or phobia you have that perhaps others don’t and what is something you don’t fear that maybe many other people do, do you think?
-
I don’t have Thalassophobia so the ocean to me isn’t something I fear nor what’s in it, I think quite a lot of people do along with something like liminal spaces that make them feel uneasy but to be honest it doesn’t really phase me.
For phobias or fears I don’t like butterflies really, I just think their fluttering and whatnot is freaky and annoying, I’d say this is a minor fear / phobia of mine but still, I don’t like the fuckers.
-
Replying to:

-
-
All my phobias are pretty common, though I don’t know how many people have Trypophobia but I have it.
But I’m not afraid to go on things like roller coasters or extremely tall buildings and I feel many people are.And here’s my question of the day: where’s the clucking real-
-
Replying to:
No but im serious
Im dying due to norealmitis
-
-
Buzzing noises right next to me ear just set me off for some reason. I know it sounds stupid but it doesn’t even have to be an insect, if there’s any buzzing near my ear I instantly recoil
This is why I actually almost concussed myself on a screen door recently. As I was opening it a deerfly passed by my ear and I recoiled into the fucking half opened door-

Replying to:
I’m also scare of the dark

I hate dogs

i have arachnophobia and my entire family mocks me because of it
-
Replying to:
same but my family doesn’t mock me https://www.boredpanda.com/adorable-animation-lucas-the-spider-joshua-slice/
-
-
My largest is
Phobia of intruders with malicious intent (murderous) and is shadow-like in appearance
like these

Because of this I’m paranoid of when I stare in dark areas or am sitting near dark areas or when I take my telescope out at night to use it because I’m afraid that eventually one day there will be a time when someone invades the house through the backyard or the house silent enough that I’m unaware of it, or that I’ll just have to hide
Also afraid of seeing a UFO for some reason.
Kind of like distorted blobs in the sky or the pheonix lights.
Because of this I’m kind of scared to stand below a sky with no clouds over my area since it feels sometimes unsafe.I’m also afraid of being alone (like the last person on earth), and just that by itself which is why liminal spaces do make me feel a bit uneasy. I have a bit of megalophobia too.
As for what I don’t fear, not much really. I’m not really claustrophobic or afraid of spiders by themselves, but just that when they’re dead they’re scary.
-
Probably my strange fear of automatic lights in public bathrooms, I don’t know why, but maybe it a because of some experiences I’ve had as a younger child.
-
The thought of there being nothing after we die. I’m a Christian, so I believe in heaven, but I never really knew. It’s my worst fear, other than heights.
-
I don’t have many fears, but my biggest would be the fear of the Unknown.
Things like what happens after death, what ifs, and the incomprehensible scale of the universe.
I no longer believe in heaven, I think there is nothing after death, but the thing is, my brain can’t comprehend there being nothing forever(that’s a quote taken from someone who already died awhile ago i forgot their name)
Maybe that’s why I like science so much.
Finding the answers. -
It might be that I always feel the need to stay away from people.
Like for every time I see a mostly harmless stranger like a kid, I feel the need to stay away from them. This mostly happens when I take my dogs out now.Maybe It’s because of my mom teasing me by jokingly hitting me with food stuff (It’s just teasing) which pretty much fucked up my Fight Or Flight Response or maybe It’s because of the fact that I’ve been mostly Isolated since 2019, Only ever really going out to take out my dogs, some trash, going to the beach, pools and all that but for some reason, I feel that they might attack me.
-
Replying to:
Same, i’ve started bringing weapons outside with me, and it doesn’t help that I live in a neighborhood of crackheads and people who own guns.
Not to metion that I often hear fireworks or gunfire at night.
Texas is crazy.

I live in Arizona so yeah there’s a lot of sweating and I really wish there was less
-
For some reason my arms start sweating whenever I start gaming.
Very stinky. -
I live in margarita an island so……. sweat every day at every hour
-
I don’t sweat that much, and when I do it’s not like pungent, more faint
I sweat constantly if I’m anxious/nervous tho
-
I can sweat in the winter. At most I go outside with jacket that does nothing for the cold. I wish I didn’t because holy shit, existing in room temperature can make me sweat sometimes. For christs sake, I even live in the more northern states and that doesn’t help. Idk, maybe I’m just built for having hypothermia.
…I also want to not have four fans in my room during the summer on full blast all day every day (parents don’t love me enough to let me use an air conditioner)
-
i keeled over from heatstroke yesterday (hyperbole)
-
I wish I sweat less cause it fucking makes me uncomfortable 😩
Least I don’t smell much when I do, so that’s something
-
I swear to god I have fire resistance irl
I’ve always been in extremely hot ass conditions so 80-90 degree whether can still give me chills
OSo I guess not really
-
I sweat quite a bit despite it not being that hot, if I’m super active I’ll have an entire coat of sweat around me. I guess my superpower would be fire immunity. I wish I didn’t sweat as much because it feels weird being drenched after doing basic stuff.

Idk

Question of the day:What is your ringtone? Or what would you make your ringtone if you could / would?
-

-

Probably this.

I don’t have a custom ringtone, so I use the casual Samsung ringtones and half of them are scary and it freaks me out when I hear the alarm. And even worse I forget to turn it off when I press snooze, so 30 minutes later I’m shocked to my death once again.
I use this one which isn’t that bad but still agitates me hearing it

Hell: what the biblical heaven depicts. the sound of being happy 24/7 scares me. like you need bad to have good, if everything is good than it loses it’s meaning

QotdLet’s try this.
Pick a superpower.
First person to respond to it chooses side effect.
Second person to reply chooses a counter effect to that side effectBonus Qotd
