Spotlight Critiques
A group focused on reasonably criticizing the old and new animations featured in the spotlight and future animations brought onto the spotlight so no spotlight animations are thrown into the background and forgotten behind the new animations.
Rules
-If you are to vote for any animation that is your own, go ahead and vote, but vote on it as if you are looking at your old self and bringing up what you can improve on.
-Forcefully telling people everywhere to hate on an animation isn’t cool. Really, don’t be that guy just cause you want the top spot.
-Vote hard, be hard on the people who get spotlight, they already are ranked high having their animation presented in spotlight, so don’t be afraid to give a low rating on that stuff, that all is private anyway.
-Go ahead and give a statement of what you see on the animation, you can put your exact rating in or not on every category. Just don’t force yourself to make one, it’s not necessary.

Today looks interesting for spotlights.
First up is [Dark Hate] Episode 1 by Rafa Warrior. Haven’t seen any of it, but it looks different from other series.

The spotlights today are looking pretty dry.
First up we have 2020 The New Decade and 2010s Celebrations by Cloudy 1. Gonna guess this is some DBZ thing with a new year sorta thing attached to it. No idea. Just a guess.

First up today is Stick Nodes Rewind 2019 by ChallasFRL. A cool little video reviewing a year. I forgot quite a bit of this, but I don’t think it will be anything mindblowing. Just something nice.

I haven’t seen this one yet at all so it will be completely new to me and it’s easy to go in with an open mind on these. This concept is such an overlooked idea on SN.

Today we move onto Page 6 and got the cream of the crop of SN features. SN series that carry out unique styles.
http://sticknodes.com/animation-spotlights/page/6/First up today we got Time Of Luminescence And Salvation – Ep 1 by Raid Lock. This one is interesting. Been a while since I’ve seen it and I have yet to get it a critical view of how well it was made. From what I remember, Animation was not a strong part of this, but story build up was and it brings of a unique concept of intertlinked worlds and universes like Ben Ten and DC.

It’s a professionally done episode of a series and goes to show it doesn’t matter wither you tween or not, you still have equal ability to make good animation. The style in this is just stupid consistent and gorgeous. Story is something I haven’t looked too much at and I honestly forgot it but I remember that beeing done pretty well here as well.

First up today is Entity 303 Vs Herobrine by Acid Anims. Just know this is some sort of Minecraft animation. I know nothing else other than that about this. Oh I also remember it being featured but that’s it.

My only problem is half of what this guy makes is not even shown as his actual FPS (60fps no tween) is cut right down the middle and he uploads at 30fps. In the end his work as half for nothing. I think 60fps is that framerate you want to get through viewmodel animation and not simple 2D animation as your doing so much manual interpolation. But his animation is pretty solid and I recommend you check some of his other work.

First up today is kinda a suprise. It is Scorpion VS Sub Zero by Black Animator. Yeah, a not DBZ animation by Black animator. This might be interesting.

Unfunny humor that always resorts to obsession of food in a desperate attempt to be funny. But that’s just what I feel like will happen. I haven’t watched this yet.

First up today is PUBG vs Free Fire – Part 2 by Joker Execution. Another one of these which is odd as I don’t know why you would want to create another one of these. Don’t think I remember watching this one. I saw the first and that’s it.

I remember some Death Battle thing being pretty big back then and it covered this. I remember superman just tanking everything and I feel this will be a different view based on the name of the creator alone.

First up today we got Granny VS Slenderman by Joker Execution. Knowing Joker Execution, this certainly won’t be bad. But I am not a fan of his specific style that often doesn’t play through smoothly so I’m torn on what this one might be.

First up today we got Animations vs Minecraft Fan Made by MTDAG Animation. This will be different. I feel like I remember this being posted over and over again so I just decided to watch it. But not 100 percent sure. This existed back when the SN MC server still existed. I was so rich then….

First up today is Sparky Vs Breeze (Volt vs Jet) by Son Goku Anims. Something all about fighting and not story line. The only think I will hate here is one of the designs a believe.

They are normally lackluster with most of their work being put into animation. But Idk about you, but I think that’s a PL base I am seeing in the thumbnail wonder how it will be dealt with.

First up we got Slam the Doll Collaboration by Clan Xenon. I have a very good feeling this is another beat them up collab. But it might be entertaining anyway.

It is an animation with a built set of paths you follow to create your own adventure. You have to make your own decisions so it is a game. I’ve considered making my own of one of these. But seriously I recommend you all check this out. I remember messing around with it a bit.

i love that CYOA series, even i want to do something like that but it wouldn’t be of any decent length because time, more of a memetic thing
you (EB) really should do it, that would be pretty damn awesome for you/a series by you
even if episodic, just declare which “path” is official from the last episode, for episode 2 etc…

While it’s a cool thing, you have to thow in even more effort and be able to make the story flow. I think if I were to do something like this, it would be me making an actual game.
