About a week has passed. Let’s look at some of the figures sent in that period of time!

Hi, might be a bad time, if so sorry for bothering you, but could I join the snn team? I understand if you don’t want to because of all the people already on it.
If you’re willing to hear me out, I have an idea or two on what I could add to this group. I could perhaps do a “stickfigure report” segment each weekday and report on information regarding the stickfigure side of the website. If you want me to elaborate more please let me know.
I did do something like this a while ago but it was honestly just to get uc status. Now that I’ve gotten that though, I kinda want to pick it back up, and this place seems like a good way to do it.-

The most disliked/liked Stickfigure(s) that day
Report on if there are no submissions that day
Maybe do a stolen stickfigure watch and encourage people to look for them
Report on special submissions (like sticknodes promo code things for christmas)
Report on anything special or surprising happening in general, like an Admin actually uploading a Stickfigure for the first time in years-Show a SNN choice, basically some (or one, just me) snn members choose a Stickfigure that they like from that days pool of uploads, I add which user likes which and why (including me, could add some more diversity and opinions.)
And finally, something small: Each day will have a “Lucky’s random stickfigure” segment where I share a random and wacky stickfigure using the built in random search feature.

DramaActually, I think its better to not add on to the current issue, because then it\’d just be adding fuel to the fire. It\’ll probably calm down after a while, but I feel like it\’s better to not cover it at all, because if I do after the whole incident is over, it would probably start up again.

Recently, User Craz had made a post stating that he would be “leaving this god awful community for good”, as he claimed that this site had turned to “whatever the hell this garbage is.” He had also claimed that it had been Ralph’s fault for not enforcing rules.Though most of the post was just him explaining why he is leaving due to the fact that the community had worsened over time because of the people inside of it.
This, of course, didn’t end well.
Some users had agreed that this community isn’t the best, but they thought he was overreacting a bit. On the other hand, some users emphasized more on the overreacting part.

User Heckray who had been gone for a few months had even come back to leave a comment stating that “Ralph isn’t the issue here but your own attitude its what makes this site stupid”, after a paragraph and a half, Gigan also decided to leave his statement, claiming that he had also partaken in drama before. After all that, the post was locked.All in all, moderation isn’t easy, especially with a sizable community such as this one, as the admins and mods have actual lives and have way more important stuff to care about. Sure some rules could be enforced, but that doesn’t mean you should be blaming people who don’t have any fault for your problems.

While I do feel like calling this community “garbage” is way too much, I can see why he’d feel that way. I don’t really see the outlook on why people here tend to just kick out and harass people who don’t like this website’s community, instead of trying to convince them that this place isn’t really that bad.

(or any other similar situations)This website is barely “garbage” by any means and it obviously does have a thriving community, but it still needs a lot of improvement both on the enforcement of rules side and the actual community itself. A bit of a reminder that the site’s activity page is for 13 years old and older users ONLY, as per the StickNodes.com Terms of Service (http://sticknodes.com/tos-privacy-policy/). As to why I made this point, let’s be real, there’s probably some people below the age of 13 active on this site, it’s not worth it to hide it.
Most of the “enforcement” of the rules on this site feel more like a slap on the wrist than anything, and I feel like that’s the main point that Craz is trying to make, he just didn’t get it into the proper words. The fact that people ragged on him for it and just beat him up for it is just unfortunate, and I’m gonna assume that this happened because of his faulty reputation.
If you start to go outside of the website’s main community, you start to realize that people genuinely do avoid the StickNodes website because of it’s community, and it’s most likely because this community genuinely struggles with introducing users to the site’s overall vibes. People here keep acting in a “satirical” manner, even to strangers who are new to the site, so a lot of people tend to be put off.
Not to mention the fact that this website does indeed have a sort of notorious “history” with controversial discussion, hence why this gif is kind of a meme outside of the StickNodes website.
Plus some personal nitpicks of mine, this site is genuinely boring as fuck. Discussion isn’t that enjoyable here, unlike other places like Discord, and I think it’s mostly because it’s easy to grow out of the site. Not to mention some people here are genuinely delusional and have the worst takes imaginable (not political takes, just people shittalking with genuinely the most delusional means possible 😭) but I won’t bother dealing with those. Arguing about people’s site opinions is a waste of time, and I feel like it’s not worth it to drag on an argument based off one’s own experiences.
I do respect most of you here, though. But as someone in multiple sides of the community, please do try to hear out users from other communities instead of just blocking them off as Trolls XDDDDDDDDDD LOL!!!!
But yeah, I am hoping for improvements for this site, and I hope to see that this site can become better in the future (i’ve been hoping for this for the past 4 years now)
