Skyrim VR is amazing with mods! Without them however it is terrible.
VRIK, PLANCK, HIGGS, SKSE, and SkyUI vr make the game a great experience. I’ll include a guide for them tonight
Also I just overloaded Skyrim vr with tons of other mods as well, I’ll report back my experience and recommend the ones I like

Blade and Sorcery U12 is out on both PCVR and Nomad!
Here is a link to what was added: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/629730?emclan=103582791463356090&emgid=3636131061129298868
Unfortunately though, VRP (Vr Pirates) public mirrors are down, meaning you are unable to use their Rookie Sideloader installation to pirate games, meaning you are out of luck for now unless you get the VIP mirrors which cost money. Hopefully they fix this soon

Just found out about this post. I was not on my job like I was to be. Although their is some news that should be pretty interesting if I can find it again.
-
Replying to:
Oh don’t worry about it. It’s not a job, it’s just something you could do whenever you find interesting news, and it’s optional.
-
Replying to:
Oh ok. I’ll start doing it. I see it as not like a job job, but as a task I was given that I could from time to time. Although I’ll start working more on it.

Wow it’s been a while
Lots of news, expect it tonight. (Except I won’t do it in a special format due to the amount of news that needs to be shared)

Thank you Chyll-75 for putting our information together into this VR news article!

More Important Information
_________________________Meta CTO, named Andrew Bosworth, said that they don’t see their face tracking technology being in their consumer headsets (like the upcoming Meta Quest 3) anytime soon, like at least a couple years.
The game known as “Blaston” a competitive vr game where you duel your opponent snd evade their attacks via ray guns, has made its way over to the Pico headsets known as the Pico neo 3 and 4. It has also recently been made free to play.
The game known as “Straylight”, a platformer where you swing through the cosmos, has just exited early access on steam and made its full release on PCVR, PSVR, and Meta stand-alone headsets. It is 20 USD.
Meta Reality labs lost 13.7 billion on AR and VR in 2022, this is 11.7 billion more than how much Meta paid to buy Oculus. That’s a lot of Muns. And although the loss is expected to be higher this year, Meta sees this investment as worth while. Thank, god.
And on extremely sad news, Onward will lose support for the original Quest on July 31, 2023. The game will not even be playable and the headset will be greeted with a message that their headset is no longer supported. First pcvr players get screwed over with the graphics downgrade so Quest can run it, and than Quest gets screwed over so their efforts can be put into the later generation headsets (Quest 2, Quest Pro, most likely Quest 3)This further marks the Quest 1’s sad but inevitable downwards spiral into obsoleteness. (That’s a word, right? I don’t know…)

VR News
_________________________________A Sussy Milestone
___________________________You heard that right folks! Among us Vr, which had a release date of November 10th, recently reached a milestone, as 100,000 copies were sold!
Not only that, but the game averages 44,000 per day and the game has over 89,000,000 minutes of playtime! This truly shows how much vr is advancing, from first being a little gimmick to hundreds of millions of headsets being in the hands of consumers.
But this isn’t the end for our old Schell games, as they recently released their roadmap!https://twitter.com/AmongUsVR/status/1602704428976508928/photo/1
Taking our last bite out of Apples AR glasses, and growing a new Apple tree with apple’s mixed reality headset!
___________________________Unfortunately, the AR glasses originally slated for 2023, and than pushed back to 2025, have been discontinued for the time being due to the technology not being quite there yet. However, apple still has teams exploring the technology, and AR glasses will be a long term goal of theirs.
But, there is still some good news from our old friend Apple here. We have new information on Apple’s mixed reality headset!
Apple’s “Reality Pro” headset, which will be in the $3,000 range, will be sporting eye and face tracking, it will not rely on a controller. So here is how you will select things. You would glance at the object in need of selecting, and then pinch your thumb to your index finger, just like on the quest 2, and the item will be selected.
But that isn’t the only news new have on this topic! As the device will contain a Digital Crown, it has been revealed, that we will physically turn to switch between the two modes, AR and VR, or augmented reality and virtual reality. Also, the device will have a cool little feature for social interactions. FaceTime will supposedly get a vr client, and when on a two person call, the device will realistically render a virtual avatar for you, so you can talk to the other caller as if you guys were in the same room. However, since this takes so much power, it will only work on a two person call, and calls with more people than that will be represented by an icon or a Memoji. And with our last two pieces of vr news, the headset will contain a 6 inches tall and 2 inches wide battery that will go in your pocket and connect to the headset via a tether, and will last two hours. Also, this headset will have a focus on media watching, with companies such as Disney and Dolby.Things are getting spooky as Saints and Sinners: Chapter 2, gets a Pcvr and Psvr2 release on March 21!
______________________________The sequel to the successful “The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners”, originally getting a Quest release, is getting a Pcvr release soon!
And not only that, but it is getting a Pcvr2 release! And accompanying this news, comes the fact that we will be able to transfer our save data across platforms. As well as the fact that a bundle is coming to both Meta and PlayStation, which will include both games for $60, and if you buy that bundle instead of the two games separately, you will save $20Get Nutritious with the Fruit Ninja Vr 2 Full Release!
______________________________Orignally released on Steam VR in 2021 in a beta, the Full version will be released on Steam and Meta platforms in Sprinf of 2023, for $20, sporting not only the classic sword work, but also an archery mode and a multiplayer challenge mode called “Apple Head”
Honorable mention
__________________________There was a bit of news on Thrill of the Fight 2, the sequel to the widely known boxing vr game know as “Thrill of the Fight”, however the info included was little, but you can read up on it here:

I lost 30 minutes of vr news…
FUCK!
And idiotic me did have the entire thing copied on a clipboard in case I lost it, but of course I had to copy something else, and there is no clipboard history on iOS unfortunately.

New vr news in the works!
Also poll, should I make a new group dedicated for vr news, with an actual style to the news? And perhaps a small team consisting of either volunteering members or my brother?
I feel like that would bring this more relevancy and make the news more fun/interesting to make.
Should I make a new group for the news with a dedicated style?

All vr news so far
(List starts off with the latest news)
Alright, Chyll had covered the games aspect of vr news, and he has done a wonderful job. Please go check out his post, it is the pinned post on this group.
Now we get into the other aspects of vr
The Quest 3 will most launch date of 2023, have a price between $300 – $500, have pancake lenses, have an usb-c port, most likely contain lcd displays, have an ipd slider, built in volume, most likely having a fan, have the Snap Dragon XR2 Gen 2 chip, most likely have a resolution of 2064×2208 per eye, 12gb of ram, up to 512gb of storage, have a 120Hz refresh rate, and more (more in these videos:
And speaking of new stuff coming in 2023, roblox vr may come to the stand-alone meta headsets later 2023, although this isn’t confirmed.
Now onto sad news, the quest 1 is getting discontinued.
There will be no new features shipping to it, social features are being cut, and the software will stop being maintained come 2024.
Here what meta said when this was addressed by them.
“We launched Quest 1 over four years ago and we are grateful to the Quest 1 community for pushing VR forward. As we look to the future, we remain committed to supporting the community of Quest 1 users and will continue to support the headset with a few changes:
You will still be able to use your Quest 1 headset and available apps.
We won’t be shipping new features to Quest 1.
We plan to continue maintaining the system software with critical bug fixes and security patches until 2024.
Quest 1 users will no longer be able to create or join a party.
Quest 1 users who currently have access to Meta Horizon Home social features will lose access to these features on March 5, 2023. You won’t be able to invite others to your Home or visit someone else’s Home”
Moving onto less sad news, Pavlov VR (not to be confused with Pavlov shack, the quest port) was confirmed to be a launch title for the PSVR 2, and it will support cross play! This is great news as not only does this bring a new wave of users to Pavlov, meaning this game will get more revenue, which means more money to maintain and update the game, it means more accessibility to this great, fun vr shooter. And since it is cross play, you’ll be able to play with your PSVR 2 friend while you are on pcvr and vice versa.
Onto other fantastic news, Windlands 2, a combat platformer game, is coming to the Quest 2. However, it will not support Crossplay or Cross buy.
And lastly, v49 for the Meta Quest is coming out shortly, which would contain new home environments and more parental control features.
Anyways, that is all, goodnight!

Alright, day 3 of nightly vr news, you know the drill.
The previously mentioned Vive XR Elite was confirmed to be $1,099, and started preorders. If you preorder now you get 5 popular titles bundled with it, however those titles I could not find the names of. It has a combined 3840 x 1920 resolution.
A company known as Rendever, which focuses on creating vr experiences for the elderly to make those of them who are lonely feel less lonely, just acquired Alcove, a family social meet up platform. The links to their sites below

Razor just announced their Quest 2 Headstrap and facial interface. It is said to be made out of a high-performance nylon material to ensure quality weight distribution, a soft strap, and a slip on design. It is also said to block light while still allowing ventilation, and will supposedly eliminate facial pressure. It is also adjustable.
Here is a quote from them in a press statement
“Designed for long-lasting comfort and weight-balanced support, the Razer Adjustable Head Strap System was created with all head shapes in mind. The high-performance nylon material provides reliability, comfort, and durability while the optimized weight distribution allows for more balance during active gameplay. The soft adjustable straps will help gamers find their perfect fit and quick slip-on design ensures little interruption in resuming gameplay”
There’s a lot of promise in this head strap, but the one thing I’m not looking forward too is the price.
The platform known as Wave, known for hosting digital concerts, just partnered up with Pico despite ending their vr concerts a few years back. The concerts will be available on the Pico Neo 3 and the new quest competitor, the Pico Neo 4. Just note that these concerts will not be available in the US, and instead take place in Europe and Asia. (Unless you have one of these headsets in the US, I’m not too sure if it would work if you had it imported here)
Its debut concert is set to feature The Calvin Harris Experience, taking place on January 13th at 8:00PM GMT. It will last around an hour, with its contents being a five-minute p…[Read more]

Hello Vr News Users! Hope you’re having a lovely Sunday. I have some Vr News for y’all today.
To start off we have the new dinosaur hunting game called Primal Hunt. You have been invited to find information and hunt various dinosaurs. You have an arsenal of weapons to choose that will be helpful on your journey.Path Craft: You use blocks to solve puzzles. Plain and simple. You can make your own puzzles to play.
GRID legends: vroom vroom! Immerse yourself in a journey of car racing. Drive cars with your self or against other online users. Racing for the title to be in the place as a 1st place winner.
My personal favorite Red Flowers: Slice and dice. Get ready to slice some bodies, dodge bullets, and do some immersive ducking and jumping parkour. With your sword and abilities, rise to the challenge as you go through missions fighting against enemies while trying to do it as fast as you can ( I add a little style to mine 😉)

THANK YOU
I’ve been meaning to get to vr news, but I either always
A.) Forget
Or
B.) Lack of News
I’m gonna start setting a timer so I remember this

Alright, vr news is coming back tonight or tomorrow morning. (I know I said this before, but it really is this time! Although the timing might be a bit different than usual)
Also, just got pavlov! (The pcvr version)
I figured the amount of mods and the excellent gore/improved graphics was worth it.
The only thing holding me back before was the beef for a link cable but I have airlink now so that means I don’t need to worry about a wire!
Edit: It finished downloading!
R.I.P Skyrim vr, Skyrim anniversary edition, and GTA 5. You had to be sacrificed for storage space

Alright today is the last day of me not releasing any Vr news (for real this time) as I’m starting to recover, but I have something else to say.
Today I was asking questions about routers (since I wanted to buy one for airlink/virtual desktop), but my dad pulled out a router we got a while ago, and it turns out it supports 5G. So now I have a Ethernet connection for my pc, and 5G meaning wireless pcvr, which is amazing!
Also I can use it for my iPad, as it always loses its connection on the current network (I think it’s due to us having a lot of devices connected to it), so this dedicated network is pretty nice.
-
No news today either!
I’ve been sick lately, and it’s pretty hard to do research when you have to use the bathroom every 5 minutes.
-
Hope you feel and get better. I could help you research in my spare time if you ever want the extra help.
-
Replying to:
It’s fine, you don’t have to. You’ve been a fine enough admin already.
But thank you, for both wishing me better and offering to help.-

SteamVR isn’t working right now for me, uninstalled and an am reinstalling it now. Would take a while though since I had to get a new router for airlink, and now the download speeds are extremely slow.
I’ll include a guide for them tonight
