And yes, very major. Like insanely major that is giant oof.
But like basically had a spark in my head of design that could work. Kind of like quick menu but more practical.
Like some stuff for example would be on far right, like for example a button for project settings, and it expands and gives you options to save, open, export and other kinds of small basic luls.
But also under it there would be library button, which upon pressing it pops up on the left slidable panel like currently it is, but stickfigure library focused. And maybe it could be swiped away.
Still rough idea, only done few pencil strokes. If I get the sketch done I will make MS Paint quality animation concept like I always do lmao.
Also thought of maximalising the Animation window with it. Like no more of those grey gey borders, especially on the right that appear for some devices.

@Ralph had idea on improving the UI layout thing, but like… Is it going to be painful to have like a sidebar menu (not the current one lmfao) appearing upon clicking a button? Like visually sliding in.

like lil tabs for the menu
you gotta remember for things on the right, like you mentioned the project stuff, there could be the stage being blocked by a tab etc
