Well I am working on the series myself. Currently plotwriting with team of people.
You’re not supposed to show everything in one episode, you have to just make it understanding what is going on. Like for example in Attack on Titan, we don’t know much. Except the fact world was invaded by titans and they live behind walls.
And when it comes to character. There’s a difference between confusing and complicated. It’s better to have a character be understanding, like viewers can get what they mean. Rather than being spontaneous. Good character is the one that goes through the changes.

Man. America has some weird timezone and time system going on I guess.

I think that would kinda suck since people would loose all the thrill and any hype there would be.

Also @Ralph in case he didn’t understand the previous idea lol.
So, my opinion on it is simple.
It will be very, very awkward.
Not only it will take a lot of UI space (if the button will also be there), but also would be used in only few cases.
Also it will be very sloppy to use. Restricted to rectangle. Also wil the select count as a part of the segment in the selection, or the entire segment going from point A to point B? What about accidental selections? What about not selecting all we want?
It’s a lot of work for a thing that could barely function as intended.

So this is literally what good atheists do to. They do good just as Christians, they don’t expect to get the result too.
THOUGH, watch out here’s the kicker. If you enforce religion on someone in that way, telling them that they will go to hell if they don’t believe, and will go to heaven if they do… Isn’t that sin? Why? Cause you are forcing them to do good and let them expect that reward.
This is why forcing religion is bad. Even for you, cause you end up committing a sin.

Exactly, no one actually knows. This is why different religions exists. This is why converting people is a sucky thing to do.

Okay let me make it in a list as christian and good atheist example:
Good atheist:
-does good
-does good for sake of good
-does not expect to be rewarded for it
-Values life on Earth, trying to make it better for other people.
-Accepts death the way it’s going to be
and so onChristian, has same values. With two major differences.
-believes in God
-expects a reward for being good by living eternal life. -

Alright, so we are playing atheism is a sin card. Meaning anything that not following beliefs and opinions is wrong aganist divine entities. Let’s throw in politics as an example then. People have different views, opinions, follow what the see is right in their opinion. And guess how people react.
Also I really want to use this image

The story was bit confusing at first, still is confusing. Basically no introduction at all to the world characters are in is what is weird. Is there a war? Is there a peace but some things are going on secretly? What is with the banners? Are they from different Galaxies? Are there factions?
Stuff like that. Basically work on gradually exposing the world step by step, so people first get to see main character’s personality (which shouldn’t be confusing too). Then steps to showing what time, place the action takes place. Then what is the problem in the series after viewers should understand the world. The series has this kinda jumbled about back and forth.

You can’t exactly assume every form of atheism. It’s honestly a lot of possibilies, some could theorise they could feel things after death, some don’t, and so on. It’s going as far as imagination can go. More than different versions of christianity.
What you’re suggesting is Pascal’s Wager. Between the risks of being Atheist vs believing in God.
Though you said, “there’s nothing to gain from being an atheist”. I think there is. And for some it might be more rewarding than faith of being rewarded by higher being. Atheist’s reward for being a good person is just being a good person. They don’t expect anything in return if they are doing it with honest intentions.
If we think of it that way, it makes atheists better person than a Christian cause they do good for the sake of good. Not for personal interest.

I think he gets what you mean. The problem is how much rendering there would be. Regular segments would have 2 times as much rendering. But anything round will get way more extreme. Like the new rendering system works on triangles. Just letting you know.

Don’t believe any of the Gods
Get thrown into hell and be tortured forever despite being better person than people who devoted to the religion.
