You could have a beautifully made character and have shtty animation or have a simple character but the animation is gorgeous. Both are different and, what makes me mad is when everyone disses on a fcking test animation, it’s not supposed to be a Pixar like animation. So I’d like to see you guys animate something good instead of complaining about the complicity of the characters design.

There are multiple facets of animation and I know sometimes you can’t get good at them all at once, but when someone criticizes or hates on anything, the “I’d like to see you do better” retort NEVER WORKS.
A chef can have a fantastic tasting meal, but it’s not designed the way the judges want, so there probs gonna take off points. The junior chef isn’t gonna respond with “I’D LIKE TO SEE YOU DO BETTER”
Also character design is part of animation. There are more things to animation than well…..the animation.
Also I will animate better despite the challenge being stupid JUST YOU WAIT
