Dude, episode 1 was pretty great.
Though I do have some complaints, mostly about the dialogue.
Why are the characters talking to themselves?
Why does the dialogue text last a good amount of time sometimes, and way too short or way too long in other times?

Thank you. The text is timed to last about the amount of time it takes for them to say it. Sometimes it accidently got longer than I wanted as well. Sometimes the characters will talk to themselves to clarify what they are doing. This helps to tell the start of their story.
Oh, and at about 11:35 into the video, some text flashes up, but it only lasts like 1 frame and it’s unreadable.
Yeah. I noticed that when I watched it a 3rd time. I didn’t have that project saved so I could go back and edit it. Mainly because I overwrote that project file.
oofers
Its called “elipsis”
I’m studying that sh*
this just makes me think of something I’ve heard/read a couple times from creators of stuff – giving the character another person or even an animal (a pet) to talk to in order to allow dialogue during alone-time scenes
not that it’s a big deal here I imagine (I didn’t watch yet) but it just made me think of that
Theres not gonna be much alone scenes this soon in the series so there will pretty likely be no more single dialogue moments. Now that I’ve introduced a batch of characters.
