so these are the main kinds of weapons you’ll see around space, whether they be wielded by mangy pirates, brave soldiers or fascist troopers.

Combat Dagger: a surprisingly rare sight, considering swords are the preferred melee weapon. almost all ‘modern’ combat daggers are diamond edged and are integrated with a sword catching prong, to give the user a somewhat chance against someone wielding a sword. most Combat Daggers are constructed on ‘Other Worlds’ (a term used for Planets with less importance compared to the Mega Planets) like Kracknosis, home of the AOW (Alliance of Other Worlds).

Electron Sword: the space equivalent of a revolver in the way that it’s old but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. Electron Swords are simply a sword but with an electric pulse running through them, this allows it to tear through energy shields much quicker and to also stun opponents. most Electron Swords are both used and crafted by their original makers, the Tryquilleeans and the ones who perfected them, Charcadons on their respective construction worlds of Neuronex and Octocaria.

Ion Sword: the standard issue blade for the LAVS (Lacktorn Alliance of Various Species) and the Verrinian Republic. the Ion Sword is a curious weapon as it is not weilded like other swords. the aim is to instead push the blade into the target to slowly dig through their armour. while much slower that conventional melee combat, it is much more adaptable, allowing for easy bypassing of blast doors and thick armour. the blade relies on a battery but does come in a chargeable variant for those who are staying in one spot for a long time rather than on the move.

Hardlight Sword: standard melee weapon on Union Troopers. the blade’s heat and sharpness is dictated by colour. blue is weakest, then green, then yellow, purple, white, orange, pink and finally red. blue is for the expendable troopers, green is for the sergeants of squads of troopers, yellow is for commanders, purple for elite troopers, white for generals, orange for royalty, pink for the Supreme Commander and Field Marshal and finally, red for the Supreme Leader himself, Albah Kreiek. Hardlight Swords can be used as both slashing weapons like Electron Swords as well of pushing weapons like an Ion Sword. Hardlight Swords are constructed mainly on the Union construction world of Nialerion.

Space Pirates are a common sight around the Milky Way galaxy thanks to the Solarian Species. Solarians are built upon a society of lies, corruption and crime, they ain\’t the most friendly civilisation. Due to this, estimates show around 75% or the entire species will at one point go into Pirating, 10% of that will usually be in search of specific clans, 90% of those will be looking specifically for the Henema clan, thanks to its huge success rate.
Solarian Space Piratesa are some of the most common and also most efficient space pirates in the Galaxy, pillaging cargo ships, boarding battleships and sometimes just doing whatever the highest bidder asked, they\’re only in it for the cash after all.
