Rotten tomatoes ratings vs an internet critics rating.

Fair enough. Just keep in mind the series is realistic.

Giving me real MGS5 vibes, but

The story is pretty fine, but it has a lot of questionable choices and things happen far too quickly. Plots aren’t carried out very well alot of the time, but the main plot is pretty fine. The animation to me is acceptional overall, aside from episode one and two which had many problems. He is going to remaster it from what I have heard though. This was his first, and his main, but that shouldn’t shield his series from critisism. He is going to remake it, so he needs to know what he needs to fix.

Yeah. Animation got better quickly, but it started off really rough. And visually, it had a lot of problems.

The casings move a little too cartoonish and slow. The magazine also kinda flys right to the ground. At a slower movement this would work. A variety of recoil patterns would be good too. Recoil is pretty fine and accurate, the grip though.
Is one hand doesn’t look like it’s firmly gripping onto the gun. The fingers should be closed and the hand should be angled. -

Not really.

Yeah, there was a lack of life in the series without it.

Yeah. He had a good overview on the series.

To me, the animation at the beginning was rough and really basic to me. Sometimes it bothered me but that improves over time throughout the episodes. But silence in the scenes was the sleeper that killed alot of the scenes in the series. This is where the presence of ambient sounds and music is crucial in these animation with the absence of voice acting. Not to mention, that there was alot of things that happened which should have had sounds, but did not.

First spotlight we are all gonna all look at. Stick Nodes Movie Episode 1 to 8 by Epitaph.
Now, while this says just Episode 1, I for some reason remember Ralph posting episode one up there as a quick way to post all the episodes already up when spotlight first became a thing. This one is definitely a classic. But is nostalgia really gonna be the defining factor over all the flaws this actually has? That’s up to you. I’d suggess watching this series all over again to episode 8 to judge how great it is, or maybe how bad it is. Your call.

I did like the animation that epitaph did. Only problem i had with it was it being rather silent. Too silent.

Exactly. The absence of sound just made it. Bland. It had a good concept, animation was ok but having barely any sound in the beginning made it feel, boring.

==THIS IS A CERTIFIED HOOD CLASSIC== Jk but no really. This ones a classic. Although as others have said, too silent. Music or more sounds would definitely have helped. The figures are (mostly) all great. And it’s also kind of funny, which is surprising. Especially when you think of old stick nodes meme animations and how cringe and unfunny they are. But this doesn’t fall into that. The animation is good enough. Not super exceptional but not bad either (actually now that I think of it, it’s rusty for today’s standards of animations). This is a solid 6.5/10 for me EDIT: AND AS IF HE COULDN’T TELL IT WAS SEAN BY THE SMELL OF VEGEMITE AND KANGAROOS,AND THE AUSTRALIAN ACCENT. (Oke that’s all)

i rewatched some scenes recently and just realized how boring the sn movie actually is
the plot just keeps on dragging on, with jokes that tend to easily ruin serious moments
+ i really dislike the fact that the dude made his own self insert oc a literal god-
Replying to:
Yeah, when you watch it without the context it was given over the time when it was being made, it is packed with issues. And some jokes ruin some serious moments which is really a letdown. If the plot where to move more slowly and be better conveyed with a larger amount of context as well as with certain events being display better, it would have been way better. Instead, a large portion of it felt rushed. Especially in the animation where there was an absence of intensity, weight, power, sound and other things that make an animation satisfying. And I hear you on the part about making his own OC as a god on SN. Which doesn’t make sence for various reasons within a universe that is supposed to be a depiction of the SN community, but primarily he makes himself seem ridiculously overpowered compared to the villian which appears as a bit of some ego feeding.

Here is my opinion
Yes, it has a wonderful story
Plots
Action
Etc
But the animation does have issues
When a ship flies
It jerked up and down
I rate it 8/10
A remaster would be nice
But we can’t just beg for it so fast.
Yes, this was Epitaph’s main series and probably 1st.
Of course you have flaws
Let you other dudes decide-

I’m not good at rating things :c
Eh, that’s fine. You don’t have to rate if there’s other people to do it.
Fuck youNah, that’s all good here. He got his rating already.
